Horace's Short Story

Horace had just been released from school for a long 2-week winter break in which he had planned to spend most of it with his best friend Dan. “Hey Dan,” Horace had said to Dan.
“Hey man,” responded Dan, From there Horace’s father had picked up the two from school to head to Horace’s house for a great sleepover.

The night began with Horace and Dan playing an old “Star Battles” game and just continued like that until Dan retorted,
“Hey, Horace can I use your bathroom?”

Horace replied, “Sure it’s down the hallway to the left.”
“Thanks, I'll be out in a second,”

answered Dan. But as soon as Dan had left for the bathroom Horace noticed a little tan-ish looking spot where Dan was sitting, Horace had decided to investigate, shocked Horace saw his hamster flattened on his floor.

I’ve never even seen your hamster before.”

“So, why is he dead then!?” choked Horace.By then Dan had finished his business and had come out of the bathroom to discuss the matter of Horace’s dead hamster and to figure out who did it.
“Maybe you had stepped on it while you were setting up snacks for tonight”
“So are you suggesting that I killed my hamster!” cried Horace.
“No, I'm simply suggesting that it could have been an accident and you just didn’t realise that you did it,” replied Dan
“well then how do you explain this.” but as soon as Horace complained he heard a mysterious voice that shouted “Stop
