Hong Kongindia Command and Market Economies
The world is run with economic systems. Two of these economic systems are the market economy and the command economy. These economic systems both greatly differ and are similar in there ways of controling the factors of production, ownership, and their incentives for efficient production.
An area of the world that has a command economy is India. The government controls and makes decisions with the factors of production. The factors of production are the resources used to produce goods and services, such as lonad, labor and capital. Within these socialist areas, there is no presence of motivation, a very important factor in an economy. This is because no matter what they do for their economy, everyboyd will recieve the same pay. For example, a doctor would get paid the same amount as a dishwasher. This creates unmotivation because there is nowhere to progress to. People don’t want to work hard for the same pay as someone who doesn’t. Also, since the government controls the factors of production, and not the individual consumers
themselves, it is impossible for the few in power to know the many needs, and conditions of resource availability, within the whole economy. Therefore, many things of importance are not recognized, or over looked and the economy and people suffer from the loss. It is present in these areas of socialism that many of the people suffer from poverty because of this economic system.
Hong Kong used to be a command economy. Hong Kong was very poor. This poor area quickly changed over the years into a very prosporous place. This is due to it’s change to the market economy. Hong Kong is also the freest of economies. The United states of america also has a market economy. In a market economy, or free enterprise economy, the individuals own the factors of productin, and make the decisions with them. This is unlike the command econly becaues their government controls the factors of production. The market economy is more effiecent because the individuals decide for themselves how to answer economic questions, looking out for their own personal best interest. This creates motivation, in which the command economy lacks.
Entreprenurs also play a large roll in the economy. In Hong Kong, it is extremely easy to start your own business.
Overall, free market is a necessity if there is to be any forward movement and progression of society. In a controlled system nothing ever changes, and while this can prevent change for the worse, it also stunts change for the better. In free enterprise systems, people with brains and determination, such as Andrew Carnegie, are able to take advantage of new opportunities. While this system will not help individuals float along, and they are liable to sink (into debt and/or remorse), those who have the courage to try will find that success is only a risk
The demand for the harpsichord was steady until the 18th century when it was replaced by the fortepiano. The transition was complete by the ear...
Ethical issues arise daily in the healthcare world. The manor in which issues are addressed vary. “There are, it might be said, as many histories of nursing ethics as there are individual ethicists and professional or cultural contexts” (Guildford 2010, p.1). “A code of ethics is a fundamental document for any profession. It provides a social contract with the society served, as well as ethical and legal guidance to all members of the profession” (Lachman 2009, p.55). According to Lachman, since the original ANA Code from 1950, the significance of service to others has been consistent. Two changes in the code have occurred since the original. First, not only the patient is being treated, but the family and community where they live are also considered.
The client being observed is a sophomore at UNH named Mike. Since attending UNH, Mike has displayed symptoms of social phobia. These symptoms include feeling nervous being around large groups of people and having panic attack like episodes. As well as this, he also often confines himself to his room, rarely speaks in class, and does not have very many friends. Though this is the case in college, Mike has not always displayed these symptoms. He suffered a lot of ridicule as a child because of a rare hormonal disorder. This ridicule that he faced adversely affects his current condition. However in high school, this ridicule stopped, and he was able to make close friends and found what he loved to do. Though Mike is nervous about attending therapy, he feels that something needs to be done in order for him to change.
How we are seen and how we see others often affects different aspects of our lives, and the lives of others. The entire social structure that we live in is affected by at least one construction of race. However, I would like to examine the concept of race first. There is no gene that is common to all black or white people; it is not biological. If race was “real”, then racial classifications would be constant all around the world, but someone considered black in the United States might be considered white in Brazil. In addition, racial categorizations in census forms vary widely between countries and across time in the same country. It is important to note that, in 2003, as part of the Human Genome Project, researchers concluded that “3 billion base pairs of genetic letters in humans were 99.9 percent identical in every person”. Which leads me to say that race is a social construct. It is important to explore this further to better understand the capacity race has to affect other parts of life. Race is a social construction because the existence of race requires that people collectively agree and accept that it does exist. It typically works through race indicators which are used to indicate which race you are, and consequently what sort of status you have in society. The Thomas Theorem is a theory that states “If men (and women) define situations as real, they are real in their consequences”,

The major difference between a command economy and a market economy is who makes the decisions. In a command economy, the government decides what to produce, who to produce for, and how to produce. In a market economy, the people get to decide what to produce, who to produce for, and how to produce. The major difference lies with the control and who is in charge.
Ethics and professionalism are an essential aspect of nursing foundation. Traditionally, nursing has been known to have an illustrious history of concern for the welfare of the injured, vulnerable, the sick as well as social justice (Wheeler, 2013).Normally, this concern is symbolized in the offering of nursing care to not only individuals but also the entire community. Consequently, nursing entails preventing sickness, alleviating sickness, as well as protecting, promoting and restoring health by caring of groups, communities, families and individuals (Wheeler, 2013). Persons who choose nursing as a career are anticipated to not only adhere to moral norms and ideals of the profession, but also firmly embrace it as an aspect of what it entails being a nurse. Proponents of virtue ethics consider that if a nurse’s character is not virtuous, the nurse cannot be depended on to act in good or moral ways even with a professional code as a guide.
The harpsichord was the most important keyboard instrument in European music history from the 16th through the first half of the 18th century. It originated and evolved from the monochord, which is a primitive instrument invented in the sixth century BC by Pythagoras. Their precise origins are a matter of debate, although it is known that they have existed since the 15th century; there are clear references of the harpsichord in the literature of that period.
The Baroque music period was a style of European classical music during the 1600 to 1750s. There were several talented composers, such as Bach, Handel, who used unique styles with many entertaining instruments. The strings, brass and wind instruments were most popular during this time period. Baroque music was characterized by the emotional, flowering music composed in strict forms, used in operas, concertos, Grossos, suites, and sonatas. Although Baroque style music today sounds “well-behaved”, at the time it began, it was considered highly emotional. During this time period, composers experimented with various types of exciting instruments breaking typical musical rules of how transitions were supposed to flow. This Baroque style of music stretched the musical norms of the seventeenth century.

By relinquishing private ownership the theory is that the state will oversee the distribution of wealth in a fair and equal manner. One of the shortcomings of this idea is it basiclly rules out the ideas of natural selection being necessary to the overall expansion and development of mankind. When you place laws against the development of better technologies you are depriving your economy of the chance to grow. Socialism discourages workers because there is no chance for personal gain, thus eliminating the will to work hard and improve
The commitment to ethics in nursing education is at best uneven across programs. Some programs require a specific course (or more) in ethics ( Michael D, Dahnke PhD ). Ethics are very important in the practice of nursing, to make sure the treatment of patients is in the right way. (Macciocchi French, Bush, 2009) The relationship between health care worker and patient must be characterized by privacy, linked to the patient's need to ease the suffering of quickly.(Macciocchi French, Bush, 2009) .also ,To influence patient care from an ethical perspective, nurse needs Knowledge of ethical principles, such as autonomy and beneficence, and to be a major player in the decision-making process regarding patient care ( Parker, F,2007) . A nurse who understands ethical principles, and can use this understanding to influence the health care team to apply these principles, has successfully used power by influencing the action and behaviours of others. (Parker, F.2007)In addition, profession such as nursing, this intends to serve the good of others with a direct impact on the health and lives. (Michael D. Dahnke PhD) .Also, the nurse involved in the establishment and improvement of health care settings to provide health care consistent with the values of the profession through collective action or individual. Also involved in the advancement of the profession through the development
There are two types of economic systems that a society may adhere to; which are polar opposites. The Command system, also known as communism or socialism. In a command economy, the government owns the majority of the resources, and all decisions for the society is made based on a central plan. The command system has been adopted by countries such as the Soviet Union, China and North Korea. This economic system is commonly used by countries under a dictatorship. Despite the negative aura surrounding a dictatorship this system does have its pros and
