On November 20, 2017 at approximately 1932 hours, I observed a gold 2006 Honda utility vehicle bearing Florida tag EWSX88 traveling north on US HWY 19 approaching Berlin DR in Port Richey, FL. I observed the passenger side headlight of the vehicle to be out. I maneuvered my unmarked patrol vehicle (116) behind the Honda and initiated my emergency equipment to conduct a lawful traffic stop.
The vehicle came to a stop in the area of US HWY 19 and Cotee AV. I made contact with the driver of the vehicle, who was identified by her Florida driver’s license as Marie Ann Lawson. A records check of Lopez revealed she was the owner of a 2015 Toyota CA 7UIS767. I canvassed the area for Lopez’ vehicle and I did not locate her vehicle. An Automated licensed Plate Reader (ALPR) search also revealed negative results for Lopez’ vehicle.

In the month of October 2011, two of my friends were exiting Fort Carson, Colorado, and waited at a red light. The light turned to a green arrow and they proceeded to the intersection. The driver did not see a large dump truck travelling approximately 50 miles per hour toward them until it was too late. The dump truck failed to adhere to a red light and struck my friend’s truck. The truck spun around several times and stopped in the median.

Unfortunately, due to the lewd behavior displayed by most people associated with these clubs and rallies, bikers typically had an image of being disorderly and raucous. Harley-Davidson’s image itself took a big shot due to the Hells Angels. This was a motorcycle gang wishing to become notorious for "drug trafficking and other organized crime activities," who used only Harley-Davidson motorcycles. All of this combined to lead to a decline in demand and sales throughout the entire industry during the 1960’s. The industry was really helped out with the release of the Hollywood film Easy Rider in 1969. This film helped change the public’s perception of bikers and sparked an increase in motorcycle demand which has lasted to this day.
