Pain, suffering, hurt, and lies make up our daily lives. They consume us. They keep us captive. They beat us down until we think we can never get up. They make us depressed and anxious. They make us want to do horrible things to ourselves and others. Some of us know these pains and lies a little too well. But we no longer need to be consumed by them. There is hope. While we are always surrounded by the lies and the hurt of this world, we don't have to be consumed by it. There's a better way to live. A life full of joy, peace, and love. There is more. There is a life of Jesus. The world is constantly telling us that we'll never be good enough, and we'll never be able to get out of the situations we're in. He died for us. 3 days after Jesus's death He was resurrected! He defeated the grave! He did it to save us! Hallelujah! Then Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit that lives within us whenever we accept God into our hearts the Holy Spirit comes into us. The Holy Spirit gives us direction, hope, joy, and peace as we walk through this world, the Holy Spirit is God in us. Jesus died to save us from this world and with the Holy spirit we are never alone. But to have the Holy Spirit, the goodness of God, to be saved from this world, we must first accept Him. We have to admit that we are sinners and we need to be saved from this world. We have to want Jesus to be a part of our lives and be willing to follow him no matter where it will lead. Then we must believe that Jesus is who he said he is and want him because he provided us with love, peace, joy, hope, strength, and understanding. Then we must commit our lives to serving the Lord so we can live a life for him -- a life that's truly worth living. If you truly want to follow Jesus, have this change in your heart, pray. Pray and ask that God changes you from the inside out and makes you anew. If you truly pray this, He will. If you do this, reach out to someone you trust and tell them, they will help you walk in your new found journey with
