Introduction

Cortina d'Ampezzo is located in Northern Italy and is one of the most famous ski resorts. Settled in the middle of Dolomites alpine valley, Cortina d’Ampezzo is seen as a best practice winter sport resort with wide range of activities for the visitors.

Furthermore, it’s known for the hosting of Winter Olympics in 1950’s, plus various World Cup events (such as World Cup skiing circuit for the women's speed disciplines) and motion pictures, e.g. The Pink Panther.

Cortina d’Ampezzo continues its reputation having a system of modern ski lifts and most importantly with 90% of snow that covers the slopes that stretches from November to April.

Overview of Operations
Cortina d’Ampezzo is a town ski resort that is spread in part of the Southern Alps in the Dolomite Superski, in the Italian Dolomite having nearly 140km of slopes. Not only it runs World Cup races every year such as Alpine Ski World Cup, ice hockey championships, etc. but also has variety of slopes of every difficulty that is appealing to all age groups. Being part of Dolomite Superski gives the resort and visitors big advantage as Dolomite Superski area is the world’s largest skiing area that links twelve top skiing resorts. Visitor with just one ski pass has the opportunity to visit 1220 km of pistes and trails and 450 lifts.

Cortina d’Ampezzo offers its visitor ski pass for the valley and the entire Dolomiti Superski district.

Skiers have the opportunity to engage in different activities such as the Snow Park that is five hundred meters long and is separated into two areas based on the difficulty level; easy and medium line.
