A bicycle is a vehicle consisting of two wheels attached to a frame and steered by a fix tandem, and propelled by the shaire force of the user who put pressure on pedals that make the wheel spin. The invention of the bicycle date far back to the 17th century, and since then has been constantly modified during the past decades to reach the bicycle who know today.
The first bicycle , a wooden scooter-like vehicle, named a “celerifere,” was invented by Comte Mede de Sivrac of France. It consisted of two big wheels connected to a wooden beam. At that time, there were no handlebar, no pedals, instead the rider sat on a cushion and pushed his feet against the ground. In 1817, Baron Karl von Drais of Germany invented a improved model called a “draisienne, which added a steering bar connected to the front wheel. Twenty years later, a Scottish blacksmith, Kirkpatrick Macmillan, added foot pedals to the Draisienne.
In the 1870’s came a bike called a penny- Farthing.

Goldberg and partner John Baudhuin created the brand "spinner" and by 1992 the company focused on not only spin bikes but training as well. Many companies such as Star Trec and Keiser followed their lead. These spin bikes were made heavy duty to support any body type and have the ability to endure the same force that would be applied to a traditional road bike.
The most common style of drive train is that of the front wheel drive, abbreviated FWD. Front wheel drive was not, however, the first drive system. Front wheel drive first made its appearance in the automobile market in 1933 with the French Traction Avant, which literally means "pull from the front." Through much of my brothers perseverance, and a whole bunch of luck, the bike began to runfirst on one cylinder, then on both. I remember when Mike first got it running my dad and I looked on as he took the first ride around the yard; Im not sure if Mike knew it ahead of time or not, but the bike didnt have a functioning clutch. We soon discovered that rolling the motorcycle down a hill and then dropping it into gear wasnt too violent and was certainly good enough for the time being. Soon after, my dad and I were both allowed to ride; I think we both realized that if Mikes bike had been such a success on such little money (free, plus a few necessary parts) there were motorcycles in both of our futures.
Bicycles have been a form of transportation for hundreds of years now. Although many people choose to drive automobiles rather than riding bicycles, there is still a sizeable amount of people who prefer riding bicycles. In addition, Cyclists have always ridden their bicycles on the road next to automobiles. However, many people believe that cyclists should have separate laws, while, on the other hand; other people believe that cyclists deserve to have the same laws as car drivers. According to Grant Petersen, bike commuting is up to 61.6 percent in the last thirteen years, but since the national average is still less than two percent, it is hard to make a strong case for revamping the laws to accommodate the significant upsurge. In spite of this, I agree that the laws and infrastructure should be altered to recognize the differences between bicycles and automobiles because it will improve the safety of cyclists, as well as vehicle drivers, and create a more diverse population inside our cities.
