High School Struggles Many teens face tons of hardships in their first year of high school. Some of these are hanging out with the wrong people, stress, time management, maintain good grades, and peer pressure. One high school struggle that teens face in their first year is finding the right friends to hang out with. When teens start high school the first thing they want to do is make friends. One problem is that there are a lot of bad kids in the school that they can accidentally become friends with them. I think it is good for teens to do school sports so that they can meet a lot of new friends that play that sport. Also many teens try to hang out with people they like, but get rejected by them because maybe they are annoying or not cool enough, which makes them have to hang out with the bad people. Another struggle that teens face in their first year of high school is time management. Teens might struggle with this because they are probably doing a school sport or other things that distracts them from doing their homework or study for tests. Teens can really start to fail school because they are so tied up in other activities and not doing their school work. Many teens face this struggle because they are either doing other things besides academics or just too lazy to anything academic. Most teens start to fall behind in their classes in their first year of highschool, but one solution to this is trying to only focus on getting their grades up. Another solution to get better grades in the first year of highschool is by getting good grades in the 7th and 8th grade. This is because it sets a good foundation for rising high schoolers and if they studied well in 7th and 8th grade then you will have no problem failing your high school
