High School Musial is a musical movie that is revolves around Troy and Gabriella (roles played by Zac Efron and Vanessa Anne Hudgens, respectably.) The two meet while they are on holiday. The sing together but they never thought they would come across each other again. They were both mistaken, as Gabriella’s mom got transferred, and she got to attend the same school as Troy. Both were delighted to see each other, but their friends discouraged them both from being friends as each group thought the other ground isn’t as them. Both of them tried out for a part in their schools musical, and that bothers them both at first, but it brings their groups together and creates some sort of an alliance. My personal favorite portion of the movie was the beginning. The movie starts in an amazing way and does not give the audience the impression that Troy and Gabriella will meet again. And then they do! The element of surprise was really nice and I enjoyed it.
I think High School Musical is great movie with great morals for everyone out there, especially teenagers. The moral behind the movie is that everyone can get along and people should learn to keep their differences aside and bring come closer to each other through finding mutual interest. I really enjoyed the movie, and cannot believe that it was released six years ago! I can still remember watching it for the first time and being impressed with the movie and the message it conveys. I believe that the usage of music is very successful in sending messages to people, and I believe the entire casts were successful in doing that!

Troy gets surprised by seeming Gabriella in stage, and later becomes more surprise when the entire cast joins the stage. The song starts in a slow tempo but becomes faster when the rest of the crew joins the stage.
I really enjoyed the movie. After watching High School Musical I thought to myself this cannot get better, but it did! They changed the theme to summer vacation, making it no boring and rather interesting. I wasn’t always fond of second parts of movies, especially musicals as I thought it couldn’t get any better. I really liked the movies moral: we should all get over the silly things in life and come closer to each other.
Overall, I enjoyed this play. Even with the dull ending, I found it to be entertaining and a good use of my time. The cast was great and they made good use of a decent
The transcendentalist ideal of nonconformity is a prevalent theme in the 2006 Disney movie series, High School Musical. The depiction of a modern high school emphasizes nonconformity in contemporary society through its illustration of Troy Bolton, a basketball player, challenging the social norm by auditioning for the school musical. Throughout the progression of the film, Troy refuses to comply with the demands of his father and peers, as they frequently call for him to not partake in the play because he is a basketball player. With Troy’s rejection other students begin to assert their unique talents that defy their stereotypes. Another basketball player, Zeke Baylor, asserts his culinary talents and Martha Cox, despite her intellectual abilities, establishes her dancing skills. Emerson and Thoreau would support Troy’s repudiation of societal pressures and his ability to refuse to conform to the precedents set forth by society.
Troy’s brother Gabriel, although minor, is important to the play for many reasons. The most important is that while Gabriel perhaps has highest and most impassable fence around him, he is the only one who ignores it; he is not bounded, at least not in his own mind.
The last night of their high school began with a borrowed Impala car. The audience experiences relationship woes, a sock hop, a mysterious blonde, and pranks on the cops. More importantly, as the movie goes on, daring street races, run-ins with greasers, vandalizing, and booming rock ‘n’ roll replace the happy atmosphere. The movie orchestrates many storylines and is full of fashionable nostalgia, music and vivacity of the night. The movie also crafted scenes with risky antics, using contemporary music to spectacularly enhance the tenor of the
...s a classic that shows just how nasty adolescent girls can be under typical circumstances. Nearly every character at one point shows adolescent egocentrism. There are numerous lifespan concepts covered throughout the movie. Cady Herron is a perfect example of how tough high school can be for an adolescent girl going through multiple changes. She goes through a lot more than the typical adolescent girl. However, I think she shows how staying true to yourself is important when going through high school. The "plastics" do a great job of displaying different relationships with peers. They have strong relationships with each other, but struggle to form these relationships with anyone outside of their group. All in all, Mean Girls does a great job of displaying parenting styles, egocentrism, relationships with peers, self worth in relationships, and juvenile delinquency.
Looking at Troy's relationship with his eldest son, Lyons, you can immediately see that their relationship is strained from the minute that Lyons makes his first appearance. During the time when the audience first meets Lyons, Troy rudely greets him by asking "What you come 'Hey, Popping' me for?" (13). You soon learn that Lyons is a struggling musician who often asks to borrow money from his father. You also learn that Troy is not at all supportive of Lyons' dreams of being a musician, even though that is what makes Lyons' happy. Troy constantly insults Lyons' by telling him that he is lazy because he would rather pursue his dreams than get a job similar to the one that Troy holds as a garbage man. Although Troy's relationship with Lyons is the least complicated of all of his relationships, the strain...
In these movies the best way for the characters to express these feelings, was through song. Grease used the lyrics ¨My head is saying fool forget him my heart is saying don't let go¨ sung by Sandy during her rough patch with Danny, while danny sang ¨ there's nothing left of me love has flown all alone, I sit and wonder why¨. These characters are going through their first real heartbreak, and neither one of them knows how to explain how they are truly feeling so they put their thoughts into song. The same is true for High School Musical when Troy and Gabriella have deep inner thought about how they are unable to decipher what their hearts wants, as evidence by Troy's words¨My heads in the game but my heart's in the song¨” (Ortega, Kenny n.pag). Troy explains his fear of losing his social status buy being incapable of deciding because of the fear of what others may think. ¨ have you ever thought of trying something new but more worried of what your friends might think?¨ (Ortega, Kenny n.pag). Troy is in the middle of an internal conflict about whether to pick his social status or his dreams, ¨whenever he had to face his peers regarding the truth, he denies it to keep his social status intact¨ ( D.,Sunshine n.pag.). This internal debate is carried through these movies as these teenagers live their high school experiences. Showing just how similar their high school experiences
Legally Blonde the Musical was overall a great show. Wonderful performances throughout the entire show, followed by an intriguing story line. Lighting, costume design, and even the sound were spot on. The sets were set up perfectly, helping the audience really understand the picture the director was trying to portray.
I really enjoyed the movie Girls Like Us. I liked watching these girls grow up and change their whole lives around. It showed how the science of sociology is present in everyday lives and relationships and how conflicts can change a person for the better or the worst. What a learned most from this movie was how structural functionalism really does play a major part of how we grow up no matter what our ethnic backgrounds may be.
family living in the twentieth century. This conflict involves Troy trying to live his life through his sons, Lyans and Cory, while trying to keep them from making the same
Overall, I really enjoyed the production. The storyline itself, the acting, and all the designs were amazing. Despite there being a lot of sexual terms and cuss words mention, the plot serves as a good lesson for teens and especially parents and teachers. This play teaches parents to be more open and accepting to their children. This also serves as a lesson for teachers to be less harsh to students. I would definitely want to watch it again. In fact, NCTC produced a Spring Awakening concert performing only the songs. I watched that as well and this time I was singing along!

Although I enjoyed the main portion of the movie, there were some obvious likes and dislikes in my opinion. I believe that I learned from this movie and it helped me understand more of what the people of that time were feeling.
The movie that I chose to do my analysis on, is Mean Girls because it is my all-time favorite movie. I watched it a million times, it never gets old and plus I know every single line in the movie. The main character Cady, played by Lindsay Lohan, exhibits how to go from being a nerd, popular, hated and rehabilitated all in one school year. It’s hilarious movie about high school but, it also covers many interpersonal concepts that we learned in class like: verbal communication, conflict and relationship dynamics. Before I provide my analysis, I’ll present my brief summary on the movie Mean Girls.
Troy, the movie, is a very inaccurate depiction of the Homeric epic, The Iliad; especially, when it comes to the romantic relationship involving Helen, Pairs and Menelaus. Sure, the characters and the outcome of the war are the same, but the way in which the story is told happens to be dramatically different. The plot of the movie differentiates so much from the original poem that the film is ultimately a lackluster version of the Iliad. The movie makes so many changes to the twisted tale of love between
