When contemplating a high school honor student, there are three concepts that come to mind; these include being dedicated to going to college, acquiring leadership in certain situations, and acting upon what inspires them. To emphasize, a honorary high school student should be dedicated to going to college. Significantly, if someone, hypothetically, works extremely hard in their high school years, it is very likely that they would prefer to pursue a career that may include some type of college degree. Alternatively, students in honors classes would have any number of leadership skill. To illustrate, when in honors, there are many different activities that occur in honors, remarkably, the students must have learned somewhere that being a leader
What is an honorary degree? Honor coins of an individual’s nature. A principle that exists for the purpose of perception, a martyr willing to conform and accomplish. In the case of Shakespeare's play, The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, Brutus was the most honorable of men. A brother to Caesar, but a father to Rome, he persists and perishes for the future of his child.
The National Honors Society is based off of four pillars: Scholarship, Leadership, Character and Service. These are all characteristics a member of the National Honor Society should exhibit. I believe that I possess all of these characteristics and should be given the chance of becoming a NHS member. This has also been a goal of mine since freshman year and would mean a lot to me to be apart of such a prestigious organization.
Being proud of something can have many different meanings to people, but to me, it means to be honored and to be glad that something happened. I am proud about many things in my life but one thing I am extremely proud of is my induction into the NJHS. NJHS stands for National Junior Honor Society.
Nominees were asked to try and write about one experience, which proves quite difficult and uninteresting. It's much more interesting to discuss the value of the "pillars" of the National Honor Society. One thing defines us in life. One thing that outshines service, leadership, and even scholarship. In fact, without this thing, the other three are irrelevant. Character. Character carries us through our lives. It gives motivation and strength. It gives love and hate. It gives decisions of yes or no. Character is most important to me. It is character that literally defines all of us. Character is more than being kind and polite. If everyone's character could be summed in that way of unkind or kind and polite or impolite the world would not be interesting anymore would it? The world is interesting and so is everyone else, all because of character.
I have discovered my ability to do so, once again, through Irish dancing. Being that I started Irish dance at the age of thirteen, which is very old to start dancing. Very quickly, I went from learning the basic moves to teaching others in a matter of months. This quality is important to being in the National Honor Society because one needs to be able to quickly pick up any task when volunteering, and then guide others in doing the same thing. Being that I am capable of easily taking leadership, I believe I would be a principal member and leader of Brick Township High School’s National Honor
I am honored to be among the students who are being considered for the National Honor Society. I must admit that this is a group that I have been anticipating joining since the beginning of my high school career. I believe that I deserve this honor and this chance because I have worked very hard to get here. The National Honor Society is known for recognizing students with grades and praiseworthy character, I believe that I have both. My grades are a priority at school because when it comes down to it that is what I will be judged on, alongside my character and attitude. As a student athlete, I pride myself on being a good role model, not just in my home and school, but also in my community. I have participated in many activities that served
I was very excited when I heard that I had been invited into National Junior Honors Society. The first time I heard of NJHS, it instantly became a goal of mine. When my older sister left for college I was very sad, so I think that this is a way for me to keep a part of her. I have always been that little girl no one understood, because I’m always very excited to learn and get back to school after summer break. I’m very happy to see that I’ve been invited, but this is why I should be accepted.
I think that school athletes should have to be on the honor roll just to play sports

National Junior Honor Society as a nation premier organization started to recognize outstanding middle-level students. NJHS is a way to honor students who have demonstrated an extraordinary amount of excellence in the areas of the five pillars which are, scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. This organization that was started in 1929 is a great opportunity for me to show my family and teachers how hard I work to get this far. I am deeply honored to be among the exemplary student who are being considered for this program. This organization the so many great things in society, and knowing that I could potentially be a part of it and play a part in futuring the impression that the organization has already made. I am a determined student, and will do anything to do my absolute best even when something hard is thrown my way. I have always hoped to be a part of something big like National Junior Honor Society, and I hope that this will be my chance to be a part of something big. In my essay I have provided several reasons why you should consider me being on National Junior Honors Society.
The four pillars of the prestigious National Honor Society demonstrate the traits I hope to continually develop: as a scholar, a leader, a volunteer and a person of strong moral fiber. I believe myself to be mature and motivated; I have an unyielding commitment to scholarship and intend to make a difference in the lives of everyone around me. The prospect of becoming a member has prompted me to take a look upon what I wish to accomplish as a part of this organization. By becoming an active participant, my goal is to enrich my school experience by means of volunteering in the community, serving as a role model for my peers, and fostering pride for our school.
It is with great honor to be considered among the students of my class to be a part of the National Honor Society. the National Honor Society (NHS) has been an organization that has displayed great interest to me, with new leadership skills and responsibilities to take upon. I believe that I hold the leadership skills, service, character, and academic excellence that is required to become a member of the National Honor Society.
Being inducted into the National Honors Society is what I have been waiting for. Becoming a member is nothing more than a dream come true, and I appreciate it greatly. If I am to be chosen as a member I know that I will be a positive and dependable participant in society activities. Due to my abilities and past experiences, I can be considered a valuable candidate because I demonstrate the qualities of leadership, service, and character. I do feel that if I am chosen, I will do nothing detract from the prestige and respectability that is associated with the society.
I think the sense of maturity I have developed throughout my life has given me the determination to be the best person I can be. That being said, I would love to be inducted into the National Honor Society and not only represent our school, but represent our generation to the community, not as a “selfie” generation, but as a generation, with great potential. Growing up, my parents never expected perfection, but expected that I would try to accomplish my best. The effort I’ve put forth in learning has been reflected in my grades throughout my high school career. I’ve entered myself in vigorous course work such as AP Government and AP English to become well prepared for my college career, all while maintaining a 4.4 grade point average this year.
Within a typical high school, there will be many different kinds of students. Likewise, there will be many types of different classes. There will be students (similar to me when I was in high school) whose main focus is getting into a quality university program. For these students, there will be a rigorous set of honors courses. Any student may enroll in these courses; the advertised amount of extra work they require will keep out the students who don't belong in them.
