Many similarities and differences arise between High Noon and The Most Dangerous Game. The amount of violence the two fictional stories have is an insurmountable quantity. What's contrary amidst the two are that the hero of High Noon, Will Kane, is currently living in a town where he gets married to a Quaker; while the supposed hero for The Most Dangerous Game, Sanger Rainsford, is stuck on an island after falling off of a boat. High Noon and The Most Dangerous Game do also revolve around hunting. Kane is being hunted down to burden the revenge, Frank has kept over the years, as where, Rainsford is in a life-threatening situation. Though Kane gets the girl and is the hero, he is still left unaided. In The Most Dangerous Game, Rainsford eventually wins, but he also becomes a sadist. Therefore, both stories deliver a bittersweet ending. …show more content…

Frank Mitchell sought revenge from Will Kane, whilst Zaroff desired entertainment in its cruelest forms. Frank does try his best to kill and avenge Kane for putting him behind bars, but ultimately he is only the 'said' villain. With, General Zaroff it was completely different.
