Eve Forella L.A p.4 Helena The Lovely And Brave Our story starts with a girl named Helena. Helena and her parents lived on an island called Goddess Island. The island was a beautiful place with perfect white sand beaches, and wonderful views of Mountain Olympus. Helena was a beautiful girl with long blonde hair and bright blue eyes. On Helena’s 15th birthday a storm hit the island. Helena’s parents were outside getting her a gift when a tornado took them. Helena looked all over for them but they were gone. Helena smiled at the site of him. “You and Drako will change this island” said Aphrodite. Then she left leaving Drako in her place. “Hi my name is Drako, what's yours?” “I’m Helena nice to meet you.” They shook hands and smiled at each other. “Would you like to go to my tree house we could build you your own room” said Helena. “Okay, sure” said Drako. “Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh” Drako cried. Helena ran to him as fast as she could. “What’s wrong, what’s wrong?” yelled Helena. “My body hurts, and I can’t even move, Helena HELP!” cried Drako. Soon after that a dark shadow cast over them. A deep voice said “I am Hades and I am taking the boy.” “You can’t take him he’s all I have, please!!!” screamed Helena. Hades didn’t listen he grabbed Drako and stormed off. Helena panicked and ran down to the beach,”Aphrodite help me please Hades stole Drako!” yelled Helena. Then Aphrodite came out of the water and said “Take this and never forget that bravery is all you will need to fight.” Then she left, all of a sudden a dark hole was in her place. It was the portal to the UnderWorld. Helena took a deep breath and jumped in the hole. Helena fell far, far down into the UnderWorld. When she hit the ground it took some time for her eyes to adjust to the dark. Helena runs through a dark hallway then sees Hades and Drako. Drako was lying on the floor dead. “Hades I’ll make you a deal, if you bring back Drako and set him free you can take my life” said Helena. Hades thought about it for a moment then agreed. He woke Drako and then took Helena’s soul. Drako woke and saw Helena’s body and started to cry.”Here boy take her to your precious goddess Aphrodite and see what she can

Starletta and her parents lived in a small cabin with one small bathroom. One day at school a teacher found a bruise on Ellen's arm. She sends Ellen to live with Julia the school's art teacher. Julia had a husband named Roy. They were both hippies. Julia and Roy cared a lot about Ellen. After Ellen turned 11 years old she was forced to go live with her grandmother. Ellen didn't want to leave Julia and Roy but her grandmother had won custody. Her grandmother was a cruel old lady. Ellen spends the summer with her grandmother. Living with her makes her very unhappy. Since her grandmother owns farmland she forces Ellen to work on the field with her black servants. Ellen meets a black woman named Mavis. Mavis and her become good friends. Mavis would talk about how she knew Ellen's mother and how much Ellen resembled her mother. Her grandmother didn't think the same. She thought that Ellen resembled her father. She also hated that man. Her grandmother would often compare her with her father. Her grandmother would torture her because she wanted revenge from her father. Her grandmother also blames her for the death of her mother. While Ellen was staying with her grandmother her father died. When her father died she didn't feel sad because she had always fantasized about killing her father. Ellen just felt a distant sadness. Ellen cried just a little bit. Her grandmother was furious because Ellen showed some emotions. She told her to never cry again. After that Ellen becomes scarred for a long time. One day her uncle Rudolph bought the flag that had been on Ellen's father's casket. Her grandmother turns him away. Later that day she burned the flag.
