Many of us live busy and on-the-go lives. One day being more busy than the last. Have you ever had a really stressful day at work or school? The kind of day where you can just picture yourself on a breathtaking shoreline? Some of my favorite memories I’ve had, happened at the beach. When we see the word beach, we often think brownish sand and salty, dark blue ocean water. Which is incomparable to the beaches of the Bahamas! Those would be the picture perfect ones like you would see in a magazine! One place I have always wanted to visit is the Bahamas. At this astonishing place I can eat fresh seafood, explore the underwater world by snorkeling, and see the unique pink sand. To begin with, I would love to dine on fresh seafood. Here you can be sure it is fresh because you can catch it yourself. You will know that it is not processed and full of chemicals. It is straight from the ocean! Be sure that if you catch it, you know how to cook it. Have someone familiar with this task show you how. Seafood makes for a super delicious meal! It has many different flavors that are all different and tasty! There are so many new foods to sample. Each time you try a new dish, I can almost guarantee you will be one hundred percent satisfied with the delightful flavors! …show more content…
Many people from the Bahamas make intricate jewelry from pearls. While snorkeling you can find these beautiful, petite objects. You may also see a coral reef! A coral reef is a large, live structure, made of thin layers of calcium carbonate. Coral reefs are also colored very brightly and variously. It is something different to see other than above water terrain. Not only will you see these massive, vibrant structures, you will see many different types of fish! If one specific species catches your eye, you may want to learn about them. Each are special in their own
I have been to Florida a billion times, but there are only two places that I normally visit. Sanibel Island and Destin. Traveling to Sanibel Island is almost like a tradition for my family because every year we try to go down there. My grandparents first went to Sanibel with my whole family (cousins and all) about 15 years ago and ever since then, it has been our family’s main “vacation spot”. I have gone to Sanibel almost every year, but last year I also went to Destin. Now the main reason we decided to go there as well is because we wanted to travel somewhere nearby the panhandle of Florida. The water and beaches are also very contrasting in comparison to Sanibel. Sanibel’s beaches even had heaps of sea shells going out into the water. The sand is also more dense than that of Destin. Even Sanibel’s water is darker and more cloudy, so it was crazy to see Destin’s water so clear! The beach (which is called Emerald Cove, where I stayed at) had sand that was so white and soft it
A coral reef is a ridge formed in shallow ocean water by accumulated calcium-containing exoskeletons of coral animals, certain red algae, and mollusks. Coral reefs are tropical, forming only where surface waters are never cooler than 20° C (68° F).
The Bahamas is an island in the North Atlantic Ocean maybe one day, you can experience how beautiful it is.
The smell of the restaurants faded and the new, refreshing aroma of the sea salt in the air took over. The sun’s warmth on my skin and the constant breeze was a familiar feeling that I loved every single time we came to the beach. I remember the first time we came to the beach. I was only nine years old. The white sand amazed me because it looked like a wavy blanket of snow, but was misleading because it was scorching hot. The water shone green like an emerald, it was content. By this I mean that the waves were weak enough to stand through as they rushed over me. There was no sense of fear of being drug out to sea like a shipwrecked sailor. Knowing all this now I knew exactly how to approach the beach. Wear my sandals as long as I could and lay spread out my towel without hesitation. Then I’d jump in the water to coat myself in a moist protective layer before returning to my now slightly less hot towel. In the water it was a completely different world. While trying to avoid the occasional passing jellyfish, it was an experience of
Coral bleaching is exactly what you're envisioning now in your head, white bleached out coral reefs which is far different from the colorful lively structures you're used to. Corals get their brilliant
Ask yourself “if I could take a trip ANYWHERE where would I go” well, I asked myself the same question where would I go? Here is my answer, I would go to the Bahamas because I think that I need to try something new. I think that if I went to the Bahamas then i would try everything because i am very deprived as in i don’t take advantage of the things i could be doing.
As I walk towards the ocean with the sand warm beneath my feet, the waves lap at my ankles, seeming as if they want to pull me out to sea. The sun rises over the horizon, reflecting off the waves and shimmering like gold. The salt air smells tangy as it stings my nose with the smell I crave while I am away from the ocean. The Outer Banks in North Carolina has been my favorite place to go from my first memories. I look forward to going there every summer because there at the ocean I feel at home. It is a place where I can forget every stress in my life and be totally at peace. It is a place where my family can spend time together, not like at home where we all have activities and places to be. The Outer Banks is not a beach where the ocean is forgotten; there is no partying and no boardwalks, nothing but nature to fill your days there. The beach is not crowded to the point where it is hard to even walk to the beach ,and looking for shells is not even an option. This beach is a very peaceful and surreal place. The noises of people do not overwhelm you at this beach; all you can hear are the sea gulls and the waves.
Have you ever been eaten alive by the fury of the Pacific Ocean? Well, it happened to me and many other exciting things happened when I visited Hawaii for the first time. About eight years ago, during my spring break, my family and I went to the island of Kauai and we were there for about eight days. I am telling you, the first time you visit a tropical paradise; your scenes will change drastically. The food, the people (locals and tourists), the culture, and lest not forget that unforgiving Pacific Ocean.

Meta Desc: If you are on to keep your trip the best in your set of memories, then you must taking a vacation to these scenic beaches in the country of Bangladesh. Radiance of sun and the bright blue beaches and the smiling corals are all a set of gifts to
Zanzibar snorkeling is fantastic for anyone who loves adventure and interacting with turtles, dolphins, and tropical reef fish while taking in pristine beach scenery. The area is a wonderful place to snorkel with several breathtaking snorkeling sites.
Coral reefs are huge structures made of limestone that is deposited by living things. There are thousands of species that live in coral reefs, but only a fraction actually produces the limestone that builds the reef. Coral reefs support over 25% of all known marine species. They are one of the most complex ecosystems on the planet, and are home to over 4,000 different types of fish, 700 species of coral and thousands of other plants and animals.
Coral reefs need to be preserved for many reasons. In this paper, I will discuss a few of them. First of all, they house a collection of diverse organisms, and contribute to fisheries which provide food items such as fish, crustaceans, and mollusks. Furthermore, coral skeletons are being used as bone substitutes in reconstructive bone surgery and may be able to provide important medicine, including anti-cancer drugs and a compound that blocks ultra-violet rays, they even help reduce global warming by taking carbon dioxide out of the air. These reefs provide a habitat for many species.
