Head Coach Employment Contract This Head Coach Employment Contract is entered by and between the Board of trustees of Florida International University the employer and James Madison the employee.
Article I Purpose 1.1 The parties have entered into this Agreement because the University desires to hire the head coach to start a Woman’s Lacrosse team and the head coach desires to be employed by the university. Both parties agree to work with one another to accomplish this goal.
Article II Employment 2.1 Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement Florida International University will hereby employ James Madison as the Head Coach of the Women’s Lacrosse team. Coach is responsible for starting the team for the beginning and makes a recruiting team in order to get the team ready for the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year. Article III Term of Employment 3.1 The term of this agreement shall be for six (6) months from January 2018 to July 2018; however, early termination may be a factor if the employee fails to meet the terms in Article V. 3.2 This agreement is renewable for a longer term only if Florida International University makes an offer and the coach accepts. Both of these must me in writing and signed by both parties.
Article IV Compensation 4.1 In consideration of the coach services and satisfactory performance of this agreement, Florida International University shall pay the coach 22,500 dollars for the Six (6) Month term of his contract. Coach will get paid monthly as it follows, Contract Month Period Payment January 1- January 31, 2018 $
