Harry Potter
Today, I’m going to talk about Harry Potter. The author of this book is J.K Rowling. I think she’s marvelous. The reason is, firstly, her book ( mainly Harry Potter) is so good that I can’t put it down. Seconly, the story of Harry Potter is very creative and well written.
Harry Potter is about a boy who lived from Voldemort, (the wizard who use dark magic) fighting him back. Everybody in Wizarding world are very scared of voldemort and call him YOU KNOW WHO instead. And there is reason for that. Anyone who stood against him all died in the end. Except Harry Potter. He survived from Voldemort when he was only a year old. Then his parents dies to protect him and that’s why he have a scar that looks like a lighting bolt on his forehead.
So he grew up with his only family his aunt, uncle and their son, Dudley. They’re very mean and they don’t give Harry a proper clothes or food and everything. He always gets Dudley’s old clothes. By the way, his uncle and Dudley was very fat and looked likely like a pig. However, aunt Petunia was horse looking, very long neck and thin. They didn’t even mention to Harry that he was a wizard nor how his parents died. Then one day, Hagrid the gamekeeper at Hogwarts school in the Witchcraft and Wizarding world came and told him the truth. He gets an extraordinary school day in Hogwarts school. In his First year, he survives from voldemort and destroyes one of his Horcruxes, Professor Quirrell. ( the horcruxes is part of voldemort’s soul and he made 7 of them. It is very hard to make one and also very painful.) In his Second year, he again destroyes another voldemort’s horcrux. In his Third year, he survives from hundred of Dementors ( dementors is kind of ghost thing that takes your soul.) and success with the Patronus ( patronus is the spell that can destroy dementors.) and saves Sirius Black who is his Godfather. So he went on and on till he get to Voldemort. In his Fourth year, he wins the Wizarding test, Goblet of Fire. He gets massive money but he gives it to Fred and George who is brother of his best friend, Ron. In his fifth and Sixth year, he survives from Voldemort again, and Snape kills Dumbledore ( Snape is one of the teacher. Harry and his friend thought that he was a bad guy who helps voldemort but he wasn’t.) In his final year he found and destroys the rest of Voldemort’s horcruxes and finally kills Voldemort. And guess what? He marries with Ginny Weasley ( she is sister of his best friend, Ron) and his best friend Ron and Hermione marries. So he, Ron and Hermione are related now. Three best friends living happily. :)
I shouldn’t have a quinceanera , what’s so important you turning fifteen having a huge party having a big dress , food , make-up , and hair done . every one turn fifteen and some people don’t make a huge party and go all out just for you turning a age , it’s not a big deal turning fifteen you still a teen you're not an adult yet , your still a kid.
The Quinceañera is a celebration in Latin America that is very comparable to our Sweet 16 celebration, also know as the fiesta de quince años. The origination of the word comes from the feminine term of fifteen-year-old in Spanish. The overall celebration marks the transition from childhood to becoming a young woman. In earlier times this celebration was meant to be a teaching point for young women to learn how to cook, weave, and the art of becoming a mother. Depending on the family specifically, some can carry a religious tone, and some can be more traditional and casual.
Everyone wishes for a magical day in their life where they could be a princess for a day. Some wish to have a fluffy, long and pink dress, or a crown on their head. I always wished and wished that I could be that princess. On March 28th of 2015, that wish came true.
He received the scar the night that Voldemort killed his parents and attempted to kill Harry. However, Harry was protected with his mother’s love so the killing curse rebounded off of him and to Voldemort. Harry’s scar indicates the fact that Voldemort made his mark on him and never left him. A part of Voldemort lives within Harry. Harry survived a killing curse and walked out with just a scar. That scar is a constant reminder of the man who killed his parents and changed his life forever. Harry’s scar is a constant reminder of the burden he must carry throughout his young life. Harry is the only one who can defeat the greatest evil because that evil lives within him. His lightning bolt scar indicates that he is the chosen
Billie Holiday, or as her friends called her “Lady Day” was an African-American jazz singer who had a phenomenal voice. She was born April 7, 1915, in Philadelphia, PA. She was known for her trademark of wearing gardenias in her hair, and throwing back her head when she sang. In her late teenage years she was discovered by John Hammond and recorded her first record led by a studio group under Benny Goodman, who was a prominent figure in the entertainment business.
Since the first segment of the series was released in 1997, Harry Potter has been challenged by churches and parents due to the practicing of magic by children found within the books. The books have been removed from school shelves, discouraged by churches, and censored by parents. It is claimed that Harry Potter is devilish, satanic, and encourages children to practice the occult, damaging their religious views (LaFond). Therefore, many parents keep their children from reading the book series. Yet, Harry Potter has been such a positive influence on my so many lives. Evident through the movies, theme parks, stores, and much more, J.K. Rowling’s series has been an overwhelming success for many reasons (“Because it’s his…”). In order to encourage
If you check your pockets, how many of you have pennies in them? Not many people I assume, that is because most people don't carry around pennies anymore. Denver Nicks from Time.com says
There is no arguing Walt Disney practiced what he preached. In fact, he did what he did so well that people continue to bring others to see what he did to this day, that being Disneyland. First, we’ll start by learning about the background history of Disneyland. Next, we’ll compare Disneyland from when it first started to what it has developed into. And finally, we’ll explore all the eight parks and what they have to offer.

I was thrilled to hear that after that your efforts towards conceiving a child have made your goal become a reality! As a good friend to both of you and as an astute advocate for infants and children safety, I have a few words of encouragement and knowledge I hope you will take with you on this new found journey! You should be proud and go into this knowing that this experience overall is one of the most beautiful, rewarding, and amazing events that can ever transpire! There are however some points of concern that will need to be addressed to ensure the babies overall health and development are optimal. Since your conceiving at your current age there are some risks the baby may be prone to and I would like to inform you of some preventative
Just to quickly run through the two previous books; Harry Potter is a wizard, who’s parents were killed by the worst dark wizard ever known. The reason why Harry Potter is still around, is because Lord Voldemort failed to kill Harry. His spell hit Harry, but then backfired on Voldemort taking all of his powers with him. Harry is so famous for two things. Withstanding the powers of Lord Voldemort, and, taking him back in to the underworld in hiding. In the first book, Harry receives a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He’s eventually allowed to go, and spends the next six months there learning magic, getting into trouble, and trying to solve mysteries of his past, and the school. In the second book, Harry goes back to his second year at Hogwarts, and gets into more trouble, figures out many astonishing mysteries and learns loads more magic. His best friends in the two books consist of Ron and Hermione (two of his fellow wizard students) and Hagrid the gamekeeper who was expelled from Hogwarts but allowed a job as the gamekeeper.
In his own eyes, Harry is a poor nobody. He is young, modest, and innocent, living a sheltered life and naïve to the immensity of the world. The truth is that Harry is a victim to elements of another world. For instance, the dark Lord Voldemort, an evil wizard, attempts to kill Harry and ends up destroying his family, leaving him with his cruel relatives. Otherwise unharmed, Harry is left with his lightening bolt scar on his forehead representing his terrible past, marking his fame, and symbolizing his destiny. Even though Harry leads a boring, ordinary life on Privet Drive with “the last people you’d expect to be involved in anything strange or mysterious” (1), Harry’s scar hints at something more than ordinary,
Walt Disney is one of the most well known animators in the world, but there is so many things he did and so much things about him that so many people don’t know about. For example, I bet you you never knew that Walt Disney’s real name was Walter Elias Disney or that he once drew on the side of his white house with tar when he was a kid. Walt Disney made so many people laugh and enjoy movies through his imagination and creativity. Although in reality he made people laugh and enjoy life itself.Walt Disney was born on December 5, 1901 in Chicago. Now you may be wondering why Walt Disney was named Walt Disney, well I’ll tell you, He was named after a close friend of his father’s, Walter Parr who was a pastor at St. Paul's Congregational Church.
Eventually, Uncle Vernon’s plot to conceal Harry’s true identity is discovered, and Harry finds allies in the magical world of Hogwart’s School. More so, Harry suddenly finds himself transported to fantasy world of Hogwart’s School, which is an educational institution (a private school) teaches young people how to become wizards. Ironically, Harry arrives at Hogwart’s School (on a mysterious train), and he is surprised that he is already a famous celebrity amongst his peers. More so, Voldemort’s attempt to kill Harry (after had killed his parents) makes him something of a
In the novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, J.K Rowling introduces her main character, a 11-year old British wizarding student, Harry Potter. Harry is described to have jet-black hair, green eyes, and to be pale, skinny, and bespectacled. In the novel, despite all the fame and admiration he has, Harry only recently finds out he is a wizard, and that he is famous.
