Halloween Persuasive Speech

On a cold, fall day on October 13, 1992, Jessica Meadows woke from her slumber. Jessica made her bed, did her hair, and got ready in her fall outfit she has been planning to wear. She’s been arranging a Halloween party for herself and her friends for the past two weeks and today is the day to invite them over for ideas. Once she called for them to stop by, Lindsay and her twin brother Luke Willow arrived along with, Alice Blair, Nick Lucky, Gabriella Weatherwood, and Ollie Lanes. They were all sitting in the Dining room of the Meadow Mansion while they discussed the ideas of the Halloween party. Ollie read alouds the words the TV was spilling out. “You children should not be in this house but since you disobeyed the rules, you will have to deal with the consequences”. So Alice went with Gabriella to search all the rooms for openable windows, Lindsay and Jessica were searching the house for any clues, and Nick wanted to check the Library alone, so Ollie was seeing if he could break open any of the doors. The girls also found three flashlights when they were in the main hall, so they used those to see a bookshelf that had fallen over. Nick was nowhere to be seen and all they found was his phone. They saw that Nick had taken a video of his poor fate, and saw he climbed the bookshelf where a window was, before it fell on top of him. The girls screamed out bloody murder for the group to come and see what took place in the Library. They all lifted up the bookshelf, to get Nick out and saw his life got crushed by the mountainous bookshelf. They laid Nick next to Luke and everyone at this point were crying wondering how to get out. The two girls showed everyone the note and Ollie freaked out wondering why Nick got hurt, but he didn’t. For the next three hours, the friends searched frighteningly trying to find any way they could out. Lindsay and Jessica sat on the couch in the living room and all the sudden they heard a noise that sounded like a window break! They couldn’t believe their ears, and they started hoping they could finally leave. Then they grabbed each other tightly as if they had just turned into magnets and couldn’t be separated. They thought that someone had finally broken a window and were searching the rooms trying to see where the noise came from.
