Guy Fieri has claimed his spot in cooking entertainment history and can be proclaimed one of the best hosts on the Food Network. His loud personality brings excitement to shows that would be boring with any other Food Network host, even after ten years of participating in various productions. Even though he is recognized worldwide for his work on the Food Network he hasn’t let fame change him, “I’m just a dude.” (Mandel 26) phrases like this make his shows remain consistently congenial throughout all of the episodes. He is on many shows and is on the Food Network constantly with consistently high ratings for that television channel. Guy Fieri has a long history with cooking on the Food Network and has developed into the best, or at least the most memorable, cooking show host.
Many of the judges for cooking shows give a professional criticism for dishes where Guy Fieri presents his criticism in a humorous and light way. This makes the shows he hosts a humdinger compared to the more serious shows that air. Light hearted funny comments from Fieri bring a boisterous vibe to otherwise serious cooking shows: “I’m a

Devin Friedman is an interesting writer to analyze because his personable tone with a hint of sarcasm that makes all of the articles entertaining. It is also refreshing to see someone who is not scared to talk about controversial topics such as racism and bisexuality, but knows how to maintain a professional attitude towards it. Although Devin wrote many articles regarding travel, crime, and lifestyle, I wonder if he would ever write a food review. I think it would be interesting to read a food article written by Devin Friedman because he does not seem like the type of person who is scared to tell the truth (with a hint of sarcasm). Every person can write a story, but it is hard to come by a witty person who knows how to capture the moment within the story like Devin Friedman.
Ramanathan develops her stand by stating the stereotypes people have on ethnic food and how cheap it should be. She quotes university professor Krishnendu Ray and make references to his book, which states that people would “refuse to pay more than $30 for what they perceive as ethnic food”. Ray is a credible source as he is a professor who received various awards for his research. He most likely has done his research thoroughly before making his claims. She also cites chef Chris Shepherd, who has incorporated different cuisines into American food, to suit the tastes of the population. This suggests that the trend is moving towards what people want to see from the food rather than authentic cultural food. Similarly, Stevens mentions Jennifer Jordan, an associate professor who states that food has been a link that creates memories. This supports Stevens’s claim of people having their personal opinion on authentic food. She makes a clear stand stating how crucial it is to understand the culinary diversity and heritage of the food by using statements from Sarah Cappeliez, a PhD candidate (Para. 15) and Paul Qui, a well-known chef (Para. 19). The use of valid evidences by both, made their articles more persuasive and

Bittman also develops pathos in this article because he grabs a widely held matter that to many individuals is elaborate with: "...giving them the gift of appreciating the pleasures of nourishing one another and enjoying that nourishment together.” (Mark Bittman) Bittman gives the reader the actions to think about the last time they had a family dinner and further imposes how these family dinners are altogether important for family time. Jordan Belfort has had a major impact on today's society because he changed the way we see Wall Street, showed how easy it is to go from the top to the bottom, and showed how a successful life isn't always perfect.

Scott Peterson was convicted of first degree murder against his wife, Laci Peterson, and second degree murder of his unborn son, Connor. Peterson also faces life on death row. Evidence against Peterson was little to none and the jury found him guilty due to his little emotion during the trial. This trial was unfair and Peterson was wrongly convicted. I believe Scott Peterson is innocent.
Emerging out of the turbulent civil rights period in the United States, the majority of the black minority population finally found a means by which to express their voice to the world through music. This music would originate from two extremely different music studios located in opposite regions of the United States. Detroit, Michigan was the northern city where the company Motown was birthed by Berry Gordy on January 12, 1959. His vision was for the company to produce black artists to bridge the gap between white and black segregated music markets and audiences.
