All cells come together to sustain the larger organism and properly function the way it should be.The analogy in 1 Corinthians 12, compares the human body to the church, where he states how god put each individual cell in its place for a reason. We all are made up of many cells but, we can not function if there are not together as a whole.
The novel Makes Me Wanna Holler discuss the problems of the black Americans from an insider prospective. When I say black Americans, I mean from the cultural issues, fatherhood, family, and how blacks working class families are anything, but lazy. Nathan recalls his troubled childhood, rehabilitation while in prison, and his success with the Washington Post. The novel helped me understand the mindset of black males and why some choose to be affiliated with gangs. Additionally, I learned that bouncing back from a hardship time help you regain strength because Nathan went threw a lot. However, I did not relate to the novel, but I understood the concept of it. The title of this book speaks out loud about the inner struggle that he dealt. I did relate to the racial incidents and wanting to work early to have the best appearance. I actually did enjoy the

The story I chose for this analysis is “Why, you reckon?” by Langston Hughes. IN this analysis I will be focusing on how the great depression in Harlem had effect on the story, how racism played a part, and how or if the characters were justifyied in their actions. During this time period the intense racial divide combined with the economic harships that plagued the U.S. during the 1923’s makes for an interesting story that makes you think if the charaters were really justified.
In today's modern world, different types of mediums are used to get information across quickly. The days of waiting for three days or more for information are long gone. We can access news right from our fingertips! We’re able to view videos to tell us what’s happening, look at photos, or read pieces of text. However, sometimes the information we’re getting can be bias or taken out of context. And sometimes, twisting someone's words to get your point across can have nasty consequences.

However, with WWII and the internment camps, Jeanne struggled to in understanding who she really was. It started with Manzanar, at first she knew herself as a Japanese American. Living in Manzanar gave her a new perspective, “It (Manzanar) gradually filled me with shame for being a person, guilty of something enormous enough to deserve that kind of treatment” (Houston and Houston 161). Jeanne faced the problem of being someone who was not wanted or liked in the American society. A good section that shows the discrimination at the time was when Jeanne tried to join the Girl Scouts, which is on page 144. She was turned

In the book Don’t Shoot, David Kennedy and his associates used a focused deterrence approach of policing. The first thing that goes into the focused deterrence approach is mapping out the crime that needs to be dealt with. Receiving 911 calls will help in mapping out the crimes you are looking for, and knowing where they are coming from in that particular city. After you figured out where all the crimes are being committed, everyone in the criminal justice system needs to come together. This includes, probation officer, police officers, DA, judges, and even the community members. Then once you have all these pieces moving, you can then figure out who these people are that are committing the violent crimes. Once you know whom the criminals are,

In Act II Scene II during Hamlets “O, what a rogue” soliloquy Hamlet goes on about how much he sucks and begins to question the ghost he has seen in Act I. Hamlet states, “The spirit I have seen/ May be the devil: and the devil hath power” (II.II.596-597). In this statement, Hamlet basically says, “Maybe the ghost of my Dad I saw was the devil.” If I were put in this situation I would have been more skeptical than Hamlet was, even though he was grieving. I wouldn’t take such rash actions of planning on murdering my uncle just because some ghost told me to do so. Be that as it may, I can understand why Hamlet would believe it is his father's ghost and can only imagine how sincerely mad that would make a person. I feel as if Hamlet and his Dad
