Society cannot stop violence by violence, but rather use proactive measures even it may sacrifice personal freedom. The government had already issued an edict of background checks with fingerprinting and many other security measures. However, we can make guns intelligent by using personal fingerprint to unlock the trigger and barrel. This method will prevent others from using the gun. The gun itself (like a GPS or iPhone) can send the fingerprint to a satellite into the government main database to keep track of gun use. Face recognition cameras are already set-up around most neighborhoods so after the database had received the fingerprint, face recognition will automatically aim the camera to the gun user if he’s outside.
