Gun Control Should Be Banned

Gun Control is a very heavy topic in the United States and around the world. We need to improve gun control to ensure the safety of civilian in the United States. Huge gun massacres such as Sandy Hook where 20 six to seven year old children were shot fatally and 6 adult staff members brings up the topic on whether or not guns should be banned or not. We need to go over the laws for seller, guidelines for buyers, and outlaw specific guns.

We need to have better guidelines for buyers. Also have to include deep background checks for buyers. Gun buyers cannot be under psychiatric evaluation while purchasing a gun. Senator Bernie Sanders said, “ Nobody should have a gun who has a criminal record or anyone who has domestic abuse situations”. He is implying that the background checks have to be deeper.

Time to go over gun laws in 2017.

Thirty-one states allow the open carrying of a handgun without any license or permit, although in some cases the gun must be unloaded. Fifteen states require some form of license or permit in order to openly carry a handgun. In Missouri, no permit is necessary to purchase a handgun, registration of handguns is not required, ownership licenses are not required, the right to carry a handgun requires a license. Chris Rock said. “Gun Control? We need bullet control! I think every bullet should cost $5000 because if a bullet cost $5000 we wouldn't have any innocent

bystanders”.

There are specific guns in the United States that should be banned. An assault rifle is one of the most popular guns in the United States and it is a military grade weapon. Smart firearms safety technology is intended to prevent the accidental use and misuse of firearms by children and teens, as well as reducing accidental discharges or the use of a firearm against its owner if the firearm is stolen or taken away. Ronald Reagan said, “ I do not believe in taking away the right of the citizen for sporting, for hunting or so forth, or for the home of defense, But I do believe that an AK-47, a machine gun, is not a sporting weapon or needed for defense of a home.”

Gun control should be a topic talked about everywhere and should be looked deep into until someone finds the right solution. I talked about Gun laws, guidelines for buyers and sellers, and outlaw specific guns. A solution has to be found for gun control because people are losing their lives everyday.
