Evolution of Gun Control Laws in America

People in american face problem with guns every day don’t you think if we had better gun laws that would help protect people from getting killed. The first gun control laws were made in the 1920’s when the crime spike because of the illegal liquor being made and sold and they use guns to get money out of people. Throughout the 1920’s it only got worst so in the 30’s people were scared to go into public. Gangsters were a big part of crime rate in the 30’s and almost every gangster had a gun to “protect” there self. The gun then were to help there problems that they had with guns, then now we have laws to help us with the problems we have now.

Gun control is really different now than it use to be throughout the 1700’s and 1800’s . In the late

1700’s had to have their gums inspection and it was put on public records. Throughout the 1700’s and 1800’s blacks were not aloud to own a gun because of the jim crow laws or because they were slaves. In last ten years there has been a lot of deaths because of guns. In 2005 President Bush past Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act and Child,Safety Lock Act, so that death victims families cannot sued the gun manufacturers.
One of those laws is concealed carry tha is one of best laws that help people be able to defend there self. Some states make people give them a good reason for them to get the permit to conceal a gun. Most states that have let people get the permit have only had a couple of them get it taken away. In oregon they have given 11,140 and only five of them have been in a shooting."We haven't seen any cases where a permit holder has committed an offense with a firearm." so not everybody is going to be dumb with guns. So we need some gun control laws just all of them that everyone thinks we need.
