Gun Control is a highly controversial issue in the United States for the past several decades. From assassinations to mass shootings, every time guns violence comes together the issue surfaces. People argue that we should act on stricter gun laws in the U.S. to hinder the crime rate. The nation is divided in this issue; both sides taking a firm stance in what they believe what should be done with guns. In 2000, nearly 30,000 people died to uncontrollable gun violence even though the U.S has thousands of guns laws. Gun control is now one of the main political issues due to shootings.
