Both candidates are very well known in their fields and have great arguments on who will be a better governor. Wendy Davis is more for education and better our education and Greg Abbot is more into keeping people safe and protecting the people’s rights. Both are fighting for some of the same things but which can do a better job is as governor is for the people to decide.

In my opinion, Dianne Feinstein is a very liberal Democrat senate because she strongly supports bills that ban gun sales and military assault rifles. The oldest currently serving US Senator, Dianne Feinstein, has done her share of leading our Senators and fighting to keep our country safe and free of crime. Feinstein is a member of the Democratic Party, as well as the former thirty-eighth mayor of San Francisco. Eight years after being elected into the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in 1970, Feinstein served as the board’s first female president. The assassinations of Mayor George Moscone and City Supervisor Harvey Milk caused Feinstein to succeed as mayor of San Francisco in 1978. While Feinstein served as San Francisco’s first female mayor she renovated the cable car system and oversaw the 1984 Democratic National Convention.
Bell Hooks was born Gloria Jean Watkins on September 25, 1952, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Gloria was raised in a small segregated town. Her family wasn’t very wealthy back then, but it didn’t bother her. She went to an all-black school in her early years then as she got older she was introduced to a school where the people were prominently white. These changes affected her in a good way.
