Pallas: The Titan God of Warcraft “Greek mythology was used to explain to the world were humans came from and the environment in which humanity lived in”. -(Mark Cartwright). It is explained in a series of myths that feature different gods. Greek Mythology focused on the lives of the gods and through these myths they gave advice on how to live a happy life. These myths were also used to tell people of historical events and a way to keep peole in touch with history and there ancestors. Among these gods was Pallas The Titan God of Warcraft. Pallas was the son of titans Crius ans Eurybia. “Crius was one of the Titans, son of Uranus and Gaea. He married Eurybia, daughter of Pontus …show more content…

On her negative side, Pallas Athena touches on conflict, legal battles, injustice and illnesses due to a weakened immune system”-(www.greekmythology.com). “Nike was the goddess of victory in Greek mythology, depicted as having wings, hence her alternative name "Winged Goddess". Kratos siblings to Nike, Zelos, and Bia. Kratos was the representation of power and strength in greek mythology. “Along with Hephaestus and Bia, he managed to constrain Prometheus and bind him at the peak of the Caucasus, as punishment for his actions against Zeus' will.”- (www.greekmythology). And finally Bia was the greek representation of mighty force, power, might, compulsion, and bodily strength. All four siblings were winged enforcers of Zeus and they all stood in attendance next to his throne at all times. Kratos(strength), Nike(Victory), and Bia(Force) they all represent virtues of war and victory and Pallas being the father of these four warlike gods was ironicaly still defeated by Athena. But although Pallas’s myth was short it lead the way for greater and longer myths to come so in a way he died so his children could later in time succeed in the places that he failed. Pallas had his offspring while he was married to Styx. “Styx was a Titan goddess in Greek mythology, daughter of the Titans Oceanus and Tethys, thus …show more content…

Perses was portraid as both destruction and peace. “He was married to the Titan goddess Asteria, with whom he had one daughter, Hecate; she was the goddess of wilderness, witchcraft and magic .Another mythological figure with the same name was the brother of Aeetes, and son of Helios and Perse. He overthrew his brother, claiming the throne of Colchis for himself, but was later killed by his niece, Medea.”-(www.greekmythology.com) . As Styx betrayed Pallas by siding with Zeus and the Olympians, mean while Astreus and Perses stood by Pallas in the Titanomachy along with the rest of the Titans. They maybe could have helped Pallas while he was fighting Athena but that is a discussion for another time. Although his myth is short and unpopular, nonetheless a lot of things came out of this short myth and just cause its short doesn’t keep it from being interesting even though it has more symbolism than an actual story it was still nice to learn about the different gods and am now waiting to see a 30 minute movie about
