The French and Indian war altered Americans’ perceptions of Britian during the years of 1763 to 1775 because it helped to show just how stupid the British were sending all these troops to apparently fight fo the colonies “freedom” when the colony ws already basically free and they were doing just fine without the British having to take over the land they were living in and creating a huge disaster in the colonies.It helped convey that the British played dirty when they won the French and Indian war and then expect the colonists to pay for their debt of basically making no good or better change for them and they were not well suited to take care of the american colonies. The British were literally taking all the money the colonists had for them to win support and land and it showed the colonists that the Britsh were lazy people who wanted them the colonists to do their dirty work for them. The boycott of British goods also helped in altering the Americans’ perceptions of Britian during the years 1763 to 1775 and it affected the colonists the most. The colonist seem really upset of having to pay taxes but when the boycotts began they felt a bit of victory within themselves they felt like they were the ones wnning the battle and not the British. They dislikd the fact that they had to do everything for the British and that the British couldn’t do anything for them but collect taxes and “insure” the freedom for the colonist and that they werent going to have to do a lot in order for them to gain the British protection. The boycotts were basically the beginning of the colonist to rebel against the british and trying to win the land for themselves instead of have the British take everything away from them including their mone which helped them survive in the society for so many
