Graduate School Application Essay

During my childhood, I grew up in an environment where my father and mother got lot of respect because they were well educated. They were among the very few who had studied in one of the highly reputed colleges in our country. This inspired me a lot and from then I came to know how much education was important in one’s life. My parents taught me that education is the only wealth which cannot be stolen and it is the one which builds up the life. These words had a great impact on my mind. Right from my childhood I learnt the subject in a conceptual manner rather by-hearting it. This helped me to learn and understand the subjects in the later classes with ease and score good grades.

I would like to present my past performances as my credentials for success in my future endeavors. Looking back through the years, my schooling at Vignan High School Guntur, put the fundamentals required for education in me. I have secured 100% in Mathematics in my 10th standard (S.S.C Board). Mathematics was always special to me as it was more logical subject compared to other subjects. My innate strengths have been quantitative and analytical abilities, which instilled in me a special interest for Mathematics.
