Hook:Do People have good in their heart or not?People are good at heart People are always good at heart People have good hearts even when they do something bad, but they still learn from their mistakes When people decide to do something bad, after they do it they learn from their mistake and know it was wrong Everyone has inside of him/her a piece of good news, the good news is that people don't know how great others can be! - Anne FrankPeople don't know that they have great talent or good inside them Ignoring people who try to make someone feel bad about themself is what makes that person be positive If they ignore people who make fun of others or make bad comments about them and stay in a positive mood, that's what ¨makes you good at heart¨
According to his biography, Ernest J. Gaines grew up in Oscar, Louisiana on a plantation in the 1930s. He worked picking potatoes for 50 cents a day, and in turn used his experiences to write six books, including A Lesson Before Dying. While the novel is fictional, it is based on the hardships faced by blacks in a post Civil War South, under Jim Crow and 'de jure' segregation. In A Lesson Before Dying, the main story line is a sad tale in which a young black man named Jefferson, is wrongfully convicted and sentenced to death. Grant Wiggins, a teacher, is persuaded by Jefferson's grandmother Miss Emma to help Jefferson become a man before his execution. The struggle for Grant to get Jefferson to cooperate, and Grant's own internal development are the main plot-points; however, the background commentary on systems of racism is the main theme.
Martin Luther King Jr. once said “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” People tend to behave and deal with life differently according to the situation that they are in. In most cases when a person is in a very blissful and comfortable point of his or her life, they tend to act pleasant towards themselves and other people. This is why it is not fair-minded to judge people when they are in a contented part of their lives. It is during times of trial and suffering where the true soul of a person is revealed and judgment can be made.
"The line between good and evil is permeable and almost anyone can be induced to cross it when pressured by situational forces"~Philip Zimbardo. It is hard to not cross the line between good and evil because if someone is getting you mad, you might want to harm them in some way. But you have keep your cool and let it go. Being good or evil is your own choice. Even if you are good, you always have an evil side. This quote fits perfectly because it talks about how evil is really only in people under certain situations. People are essentially good, but under certain circumstances, turn evil.
"Lost Hearts" written by M R James is a disturbing yet intriguing short story. M R James uses intense descriptions and shows ghostly figures to create tension. Throughout the story unpredicted events take place. Mr Abney’s obsession with pagans and religion makes the reader question why he is so interested about taking in his orphan cousin and how it could benefit him. “The Professor of Greek at Cambridge had been heard to say that no one knew more of the religious beliefs of the later pagans than did the owner of Aswarby.” We learn about the disappearance of the two previous children who had also been taken in by Mr Abney. After the ghostly sightings of the two children with their hearts ripped out, are witnessed by young cousin Stephen, it creates a sense of foreshadowing events and suggests to the reader, the third victim will be innocent Stephen.
Vancil initiates the criticism of A lesson Before Dying in an old-fashioned, excessive religious genre of attitudes. He claims that Grant Wiggins is reluctant to atonement for guilt to uphold the Christian faith belief system within the Quarters, the small community of Wiggins’ residence. Wiggins has just evolved into the Diaspora of African-American people whose adapted a new way of thought and forever changing lifestyle alterations ranging from the southern to western regions in America. It may not be in complete agreement and acceptance by the matriarchs and patriarchs of the community but it progresses into a unique character identification tool for oneself. Black Americans were unwillingly detached from the true African tribal culture and therefore must attempt to gain a bountiful knowledge on one’s own heritage, current, and future life expectancies for the average home grown man or woman.
That’s the reason why good people do bad things. Here are some current and well-known examples of good people who have done bad things: On January and February in the year 2016, a geography teacher Kimberly Naquin is arrested for sex charges and two Los Angeles Police Department officers Luis Valenzuela and James C. Nichols are charged with sexually assaulting four women while on duty. Then, former Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC chairman Mr. Bernard Madoff, who has pleaded guilty to eleven criminal charges in the year 2009. Agree it or not, everybody has a self-consciousness, but how come some people are still willing to sacrifice their consciousness for their inner needs?
Death and Grieving Imagine that the person you love most in the world dies. How would you cope with the loss? Death and grieving is an agonizing and inevitable part of life. No one is immune from death’s insidious and frigid grip. Individuals vary in their emotional reactions to loss.

Sometimes it is hard for me to be happy for others if something good is happening in their life, while mine is falling apart. However, by reminding myself that God has a plan for my life that probably will not match up with my own understanding; therefore, no matter what happens, I need to trust and believe he will make everything turn out well. This can also be applied to someone lying or betraying me. I try very hard to see the best in everyone and by realizing that God is working in everyone is in some way helping me see that this understanding is true.
The Theory of Nursing as Caring: A Model for Transforming Practice by Boykin & Schoenhofer recognizes the importance of identifying caring between the nurse and the one nursed as an applicable knowledge that the nurse must pursue. It is best stated that caring is not exclusive to nursing, yet it is uniquely lived in nursing (Alligood 2014).
Is it really possible to die of a broken heart? When people hear about broken heart, they typically think that you have broken up with a boyfriend/girlfriend, and believe that the phrase “broken heart” is just that, a phrase. Those thoughts are incorrect because a broken heart is a real thing. Many people haven’t heard of “Broken Heart Syndrome” or “Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy.” What is broken heart syndrome? It is a syndrome that occurs when there is a sudden heart failure that occurs about an emotional trauma. This syndrome was first recognized by Japanese doctors in the 1990’s. The reason it got its name is because of the shape of the heart muscle is when it occurs, the shape resembles a Japanese octopus trap, which is called “Takotsubo.”
There is an incredibly thin line between what makes a person good and what makes a person right. A person being right is something that’s controversial; you can choose what you want because it’s your opinion. A person being good is something that no one gets a say in; all people are good. It’s hard to see that because people skewer the image of other people when they think that person did something wrong. We are judged more by our actions than by our intentions. In reality, our intentions are all that matter.
Heart palpitations are often cause irregular heartbeats. While they can be fairly common (occurring in most people at some point in their lives) and many who experience them may not feel symptoms at all, they can be fairly troublesome to patients who do not understand them. Heart palpitations are often caused by an extra beat in the heart. There are two main types of asymptomatic palpitations: premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) and premature atrial contractions (PACs). In this paper, we will look at the difference between PVCs and PACs, how to detect them in patients who are experiencing palpitations, what can cause them, and complications they can cause.
The one thing in the world that is unambiguously good is good will. Good is good. Even when character qualities like intelligence and courage or qualities like wealth, status, good health can be corrupted and used for either good or bad, a good will is intrinsically good, ...
