According to Ms. Mirielle, “Success is the sum of all the efforts one has made to achieve the desired goal he/she has in his/her life.” Success is living your life with satisfaction and contentment. Problems are part of our lives but when you are successful, you can handle problems in a right way. Ms. Mirielle said that God truly blessed her family in everything. Before achieving your goals, you must set in your mind your objective in life. As for her, “You must have a strong faith with God. You must always believe that God won’t abandon you instead, He will lift you up and sustain all your needs.” The real root of success is no other than our Father in Heaven. Without Him, we will not be able to achieve our goals in life. Ms. Mirielle …show more content…
God is there to stand by us. He is there to make us stronger and better individuals. God is the source of our strength, and He is there to guide us in everything we do. God sees every single effort we make. He hears every prayer we say and God loves us though we’re not perfect. As our interview with Ms. Mirielle ends, we can probably say that it was a successful one. We learned life changing experiences. Never ever stop learning. As we grow older, we discover new things, places and more. We meet different people. Some will motivate us, some will support admire and love us. Some will envy us, some will dig us down and discourage us. But never allow someone break you. What doesn’t kill us make us stronger. Let them be your motivation to work harder and to achieve your goals in life. Tell them the line, “Watch and learn.” Life is an unending process of learning and discovering things. Live life to the fullest while doing everything with passion. Truly, Success is in the hands of the beholder. And that is us, and the one who holds us is
There are many policy issues that affect families in today’s society. Hunger is a hidden epidemic and one major issue that American’s still face. It is hard to believe that in this vast, ever growing country, families are still starving. As stated in the book Growing Up Empty, hunger is running wild through urban, rural, and even suburban communities. This paper will explore the differing perspectives of the concerned camp, sanguine camp, and impatient camp. In addition, each camps view, policy agenda, and values that underlie their argument on hunger will be discussed.
Success can be an extremely broad subject. There is an abounding amount of different views on what the “true” definition of success is. Personally, I believe that success is finding happiness. Success is waking up in the morning and not having to worry about whether or not the bills are going to be paid this month. Success is having a job that you enjoy going to every day. Success is having friends and family who love and support you. Success does not mean that one has to be exceedingly rich or have a lakeside mansion. As long as they are happy, they have succeeded in life.
People push being happy on society as a total must in life; sadness is not an option. However, the research that has conducted to the study of happiness speaks otherwise. In this essay Sharon Begley's article "Happiness: Enough Already" critiques and analyzes societies need to be happy and the motivational affects it has on life. Begley believes that individuals do not always have to be happy, and being sad is okay and even good for us. She brings in the research of other professionals to build her claim that extreme constant happiness is not good for people. I strongly agree that we need to experience sadness to build motivation in life and character all around.
Hard work and dedication can lead you to success anytime. As my dad was young he would be working on the farm in India and his older cousin would tease him when planes flew by. My dad had a goal that he wanted to lift the poverty in his family, which he managed to do. Now whenever we go back to my uncles my dad teases him about the planes. He was dedicated and persistent, he knew his goal and went to achieve it. He has now lifted the poverty and the whole family is now fairly wealthy. Successful people are rarely just lucky; they put effort into their work. Many people say being persistent is key to success. Persistence is something that helps you hold onto those dreams. You refuse to get discourages even when you see other people not being able to succeed at their goals. Knowing that you can achieve your goals and trying for those goals is key. Also, having somewhat realistic goals is important as well. Most of our goals are judged by society; most of the time we seek their approval before doing
The chosen poem can speak out too many different people. Patricia Walter titled her piece “Be Happy, Not Perfect”. This poem may draw in a person with its outstanding connection to younger readers all throughout the world. She lures readers in by changing the mood and tries to keep everyone engaged. Throughout her writing, she hints that the poem can be related to her on a deeper level making the mood stronger and more evident from beginning to end.
Success is within the mind of the individual. A large portion of ones life is spent working to become successful. People are told throughout childhood to work hard so they can grow up and make lots of money. But success takes many different forms. Different people have different interpretations of what success means to them. For some, success is measured by social status and wealth; for others success is determined only by the amount of happiness one feels.
God is our loving Father who is looking over us. He is caring and created this world for a reason. We would not be here today if it weren’t for God. God is good and gives us what we deserve. It is important that we live a good life and God will treat us with care. “And He’s good all the time—not just once in a while or when things go your way” (Meyer, n.d.). This demonstrates that God will always be good at all times. God created us and gave us the freedom to make our own choices. Even to choose if we follow or reject his leadings. He trusts that we will do the right thing.
Success only truly comes with being happy. Happiness and success are the accomplices of one another. Someone cannot have accompanies without the other. Happiness brings success, and success brings even more happiness. Success, in the dictionary, is defined as the achievement of something desired planned or attempted. Therefore, success cannot be judged by anyone than oneself. It is a personal thing. It is the realization of goals, desires or plans made by one 's self. It is not measurable and yet is something we always use to compare others or appraise someone 's worth. Success, in one form or another, is something that someone should always be striving for. For some people it is something they will do subconsciously, and for others it will be something they will constantly labor for. Because success is something that is different for everyone, it is best that they measure their personal success by their sense of self worth instead of others. To have succeeded is to have lived, as someone wanted; ' it is to have lived well and laughed

With no goals in life no one would be anywhere. Devotion of time, money, and resources to meet a goal is a major way of becoming successful. Setting goals for yourself is a great way to being able to complete them. Motivation also comes into play here. Every successful person in history has had goals.
This was the lesson I learnt from my father, an unceasing learner and a person who would never give up no matter how many and how difficult the obstacles may be. Having understood from him that success is a moving target, the years of my life with my family have inculcated in me a desire to achieve perfection.
Everybody has their own way to achieve success. However, my personal interpretation of success is accomplishing a goal that is not measured by other people’s expectations, but only by me and how I plan to achieve it. As stated before, everyone has a common goal – to become successful. Since we know that our primary goal
Success, by definition, it means to achieve a goal or purpose. To some, success might be popularity, or even getting a raise at their job; but to me, success is more about how you live. At first this statement might confuse a person, but then if one digs deeper into this response they’ll find something greater. This “something greater” is certainly not anything materialistic, rather someone’s spiritual faith and their happiness in what they do.
Success takes many different definitions. People have different interpretations of what success really means. For me is as simple as: living well and laughing often. The idea of living well is a very broad statement. Living well, in my opinion is getting success in personal, social and professional life. If I can achieve all of these three levels of success, I believe that I have lived well.
