It does not matter who you are, or what you do for living; it does not matter where you live, or where you come from; either way, you have come into contact with globalization. We are all active members of this web, and we are the fuel it needs to work to perfection. This web needs employers and employees, it needs people in need and people willing to help, and it needs members of different cultures and societies. It needs you. Whether it was by flying on an airplane, traveling to a foreign country, or simply by buying medicine, you are contributing to the unstoppable giant known as globalization.
To understand globalization it is necessary to understand its core meaning. Globalization is a process. It is a process of international integration resulting from the exchange of cultural aspects, which may include ideas and products. It can be for the good or the bad, though, as the author Anthony Kugler suggests by saying, “Globalization means, above all that a single event — whether it's the outbreak of a new disease or a new medical breakthrough — now has the potential to affect everyone around the world almost immediately”.
The ultimate goal that globalization hopes to attain is to create a world without borders (West). Reaching such goal will put both the rich countries and the LEDC’s (Less Economically Developed Countries) on a common ground, which allows for various positive interactions to take place. This controversial issue has two sides to it. Some people argue that globalization can damage traditions, cultures, and even countries; while others think that the benefits that it has brought and will continue to bring balance out the negative outcomes. Although it is true that it is a rather long-standing concept, it is certa...

...es, and people work together for a common good. Despite it being so public nowadays, it is very easy to misjudge or to misinterpret it without a thorough understanding of it. It is crucial to understand that in the right hands, globalization is a tool for cultural acceptance, peace, and common welfare. When was the last time you were able to donate money to fund AIDS research in another country, or the last time you invested in a small foreign business that became something more of an empire? We have evolved from inhabiting a global world, with distant peoples and cultures, to inhabit an interconnected and smaller community that thanks to globalization has become a Global Village, as Marshall McLuhan calls it. Now in our world, everything happens in real time as it would in a small village, where information and people can be reached at arms length.
Globalization is the process of people of different cultures or countries integrating through interacting through trade or the use of social media. In “Point: Globalization Provides a Better Life for All” By Jennifer Graham, she provides a valid point of view of how globalization has benefited society. “Globalization enriches the human experience through increased cultural and economic integration, which promotes diversity by opening society to new technology, communication and ideas...Moreover, globalization helps to break down discrimination against people on the basis of religious beliefs or race” (Para, 11,13). Globalization has an impact on my lifestyle because I am currently surrounded by technology and different cultural food. With globalization I have access to different foods that I would normally never get to try, also technology has allowed me to gain knowledge about different culture I would normally not know. This results in me being more informed and benefited about the world as a whole because of globalization bringing the different culture of the world so much closer

Globalization is the spread and integration of ideas and cultures that both positively and negatively impact the world. Many examples throughout history have demonstrated both the negative, and positive aspects of globalization. Although globalization has a positive impact on the world with new technologies and cultures, overall it has a negative impact o the world because of the gap it creates between the rich and poor, terrible opportunities available for the poor, and the horrible conditions that come along with it. Globalization has had a positive impact on the world today by introducing new cultures throughout the world. Modern cultures have spread throughout the world changing other countries like Ladakh.
(Bilton et al 1996:5) The process of globalization has certainly had many changing effects to the world we live in; it has also changed the way many factors operate. Globalization is said "to have transformed the structure and scale of human relationships that social, cultural, political, and economic processes now operate at a global scale with a consequent reduction in the significance of other geographical scales. "(The Dictionary of human geography 2004:315) Globalization has had both positive and negative effects on a local, national, international and global level. Globalization often brings benefits at one level which cause negative effects at another, these results and the scale at which they manifest are often uncertain and unpredictable.

Globalization refers to the absence of barriers that every country had. Yes, it has helped to demolish the walls that separated us .Globalization, which is the process of growing interdependence among every country in this planet, can be seen as a sign of hopeful and better future by some, but for others it represents a huge disaster for the whole world. That’s why we are going to see the negative effect that globalization has on culture then focus on the ethical disadvantage it brought, to finally talk about the damage it did to skilled workers.

As people, ideas, knowledge, and goods move easily around the globe, the experiences of people around the world become more similar. (“Definition of Globalization“, n.d., ¶ 1)
Those who support globalization believe it is a positive concept because it promotes the diffusion of wealth, culture, knowledge, and technology. Proponents argue that the dissemination of information and wealth of this type will only benefit citizens, from the poorest in developing countries, to the wealthiest in established countries. In addition, they claim the integration of cultures and economies leads to the spread of information, which also increases religious, cultural, and racial tolerance. However, in spite of all these well-intentioned ideas, globalization h...
