Global Warming: Self-Correcting Condition For Planet Earth?

Introduction

Global warming has always been addressed as one of the threats that is happening on earth. The public has already capitalized in looking at the negative effects of global warming without looking also at the positive side. The negative effects of global warming are well documented in journals and books for instance Chilcoat (2014) outlines that the effects are rising sea levels, melting ice caps, loss of habitat for polar bears and other species, mass dislocation and disruptions around the globe among other effects. With this documentation, the earth becomes no longer promising but rather an unpleasant and if it will have to pass then there will be no life because nature is being threatened.

What will be the benefits of global warming?

According to Berne (2008) global warming which is the climatic change has done more good than the anticipated harm that is documented and it is likely to continue performing in this manner for a long time.

Not even the researchers have been able to acknowledge the benefits. Some of the positive impacts of global warming are lower energy costs, fewer winter deaths, probably fewer droughts, better agricultural yields and a richer biodiversity. There are a number of benefits observed which fall in the ecological, economic, financial and humanitarian field and if aggregated they are promising to continue for more than a hundred years and above (Ridley, 2013).

Is global warming a self correcting condition for Planet Earth?

Nature cannot be self corrected, meaning the global warming too can never be self corrected. With the millions of years in planet history, the climate has been changing since then, something that cannot be explained even today. Comets, Asteroids and volcanoes have also

wiped out ecosystems and also in minor occasions influenced the ecology of the globe. Just like the humans, once someone continues to mature to old age, there is no way he/she will ever retune back to the young age (Berne,

It is obvious that the growth in human population has contributed massively in increasing global warming. Population growth has demanded more space for humans to live on which has forced to humans to clear the natural resources like trees and bushes in order to look for shelter. Population has also demanded the more use of fossils fuels in order to power their daily activities. The growth has led to an increase in demand in gas, oil coal, and other fuels which means that when they are burned they increase the carbon II oxide into the atmosphere which has been the main effect of global warming (Berne, 2008).
Conclusion
Even though the global warming will have its own negative influence on the environment, the positive things that come out of it are even more pronouncing and promising. Lower energy costs, fewer winter deaths, probably fewer droughts, better agricultural yields and a richer biodiversity are some of the positive effects that global warming restores to human environment. Global warming is a natural catastrophic change meaning that it never has refusal self correction. What brings about this global warming is the emission of gases mostly carbon II oxide to the environment. With time the human activity has been changing mostly the human population, in which the humans have demanded more energy and since the available energy in terms of fossil fuels are gas, oil coal, and other fuels, they have greatly increased carbon II oxide in the environment that brings about global warming.
