Introduction Here at Gilda’s Club, our vision is that a people affected by cancer, whether through their own personal experience or that of a family member or friend, have the opportunity to be part of a free cancer support group. There are things that I learned about myself along this internship that I did not exceed in as greatly as other areas. One weakness that I found about myself in the beginning of this internship was finding the balance between meeting projects deadlines and doing the individual meetings with the team members. In the beginning I found myself nervous to approach people, so it was difficult to fulfill each meeting with every team member, but as I got more comfortable here at Gilda’s, I started meeting with more people. However, by time I was comfortable to talk to people I was busy with projects so it became difficult to balance the tasks assigned to me and the individual meetings required of

Another key strength for Planet Fitness is the Judgment Free Zone philosophy. This attracts the average person instead of the body builder type that typically dominates work out centers. By adopting this policy the gym can reach a larger demographic, since majority of the Oshkosh population would be considered average in terms of work out usage. Other key strengths that are associated with the Judgment Free Zone are a free personal training, and easier to use machines so that members feel comfortable in the gym. As a part of the marketing mix we plan to implement a new member orientation to help members feel more comfortable when they come into the gym. This would greatly improve our product and is a key strength to Planet Fitness

The spectrum of therapeutic techniques available within the health care continuum is very complex and varied. From traditional medicine, to holistic remedies, and anything in between, nurses have a rather large arsenal at their disposal when it comes to treating the patients that are under their care. Humor as an alternative therapy has long been understood as a proven means to aid in the recovery process. “With so much power to heal and renew, the ability to laugh easily and frequently is a tremendous resource for surmounting problems, enhancing your relationships, and supporting both physical and emotional health” (Smith & Segal, 2015). The relationship between young people and nonprofits can be the start of a significant change in our community, and should be a reciprocal and powerful educational experience. An open-minded and encouraging flow of communication between organizations and community members can be the launchpad for the social and environmental change organizations talk about and try for every day. Together, we can make change – not just a semblance of idealism, but reality, as well.

Some bad stuff I learned about myself is that I still have a lot of problems getting my work in on time which I know most professors won’t let me turn it in if its late, so I do need to grow and improve on my time management skills so I get my work done on time since being a student is my first priority. The kind of student I am touches a lot on what I learned about myself this semester. A lot of times I do get lazy and don’t feel like doing work that is due which has gotten me in trouble in the past and a lot this
