The ethical dilemma occurred when Michael Baker refused to notified authority about Mr. Frank Thompson. Michael was a new history teacher who needed some tips for teaching his class. He became friends with Mr. Frank Thompson, who was cherished by the entire student body. When the opportunity came to cover Mr. Thompson’s class, Michael was glad to take it. He discerned that Mr. Thompson’s students did exceptionally well in his class so he wanted to discover how he can do the same for his students. He came to learn that Mr. Thompson gives out a list of questions for his students to study in preparations for the test. Those questions were usually in the test which clarifies why students did exceptionally well. Mr. Thompson also promised the class the same benefits for the state examination. At the point when Michael went up against Mr. Thompson about his ways of teaching, Mr. Thompson specified to him that it is not his business, accordingly Michael never told anybody. The audience does not know whether the students are actually being educated by Mr. Thompson’s teachings. The audience does not know if students made complaints about Mr. Thompson’s teaching style. I know that Mr. Thompson made a few calls to various sources and as a reader I do not know those sources. The audience does know that Mr. Thompson and Michaels are friends. They go out after work to have some beers and Mr. Thompson will give Michael some tips about having a successful class. Today, there are so many legal dilemmas dominating trial for the courts to make a sound legal decision on whose right in a complicated situation. Despite the outcome of the case, the disagreement usually has a profound effect on the healthcare organization, and the industry as a whole. Many cases are arguments centered around if the issue is a legal or moral principle. Regardless what the situation maybe, the final decision is left to the courts to differentiate between the legality issues at hand opposed to justifying a case based on moral rules. According to Pozgar (2012), an ethical dilemma arises in situations where a choice must be made between unpleasant alternative. It can occur whenever a choice involves giving up something good and suffering something bad, no matter what course of action is taken (p. 367). In this paper, I will discuss cases that arose in the healthcare industry that have been tried and brought to justice by the United States court system.

In “The Death of Honesty,” William Damon raises the concern that current apathy towards increasing dishonesty threatens democracy. In this essay taken from the online volume “Endangered Virtues ” published by the Hoover Institute in 2012, Damon initially concedes that there are situations where lying could be considered acceptable. However, with that being acknowledged, he transitions to his main premise that honesty is losing its importance in society and will lead to its downfall, and he cites examples in politics, law, journalism, and business in contemporary society where dishonesty is expected, and even, condoned. Damon finally directs his remarks pointedly at teachers and current students who accept cheating in schools. To persuade his audience of university students and academic scholars, Damon uses many rhetorical devices and styles including classical logos, pathos, and ethos, and allusions to make an ethical appeal regarding the necessity for honesty.
In “The Most Dangerous Game” the author creates two strikingly similar characters that blur the line of ethics. Rainsford, the protagonist, meets his adversary and leader of an exotic tribe, Zaroff, after falling off of a yacht and swimming to the nearest island. The short story then explores the events that transpires between the strangers – focusing on Zaroff's bloodthirsty hunt against Rainsford. Yet even with the two men on opposite sides of a loaded gun, they both share many common interests and views pertaining to their similar backgrounds, hunting methods, and desired end result.
So, over all, this helps you get a better understanding that ethical dilemmas happen for all people, in all walks of life, in many different situations. It shows us we must pay attention to our actions and the actions of others around us. As long as we follow the rules, and ask for a little direction when we don’t know what to do, we will all be better off in our careers as helpers.
