Writers, actors, actresses, and many more have commented on the coziness of New York. From economics to employment, The Empire State has so much to offer. Because of New York’s geographic location, culture, and tourism, it is an exceptional state to live in.
One of the important factors is that the geographic location of New York is as good as it gets when it comes to traveling and transportation. The John F. The number of people visiting New York continues to grow as years progress. 60.5 million tourists made their way to New York in 2016 to sightsee (citation). It is no wonder that many people flock to New York to see famous sites such as: Times Square, Central Park, Statue of Liberty, etc. Since these attractions are so unique and popular, it is obvious that many people would travel long distances to see them. Not only does tourism bring many to the state, but it also brings in a lot of revenue. In 2010, tourism alone brought 81 billion dollars into New York’s economy (citation). On top of that, the numbers continue to increase each and every year. With so much tourism in one place, there will always be jobs open. This also gives even more opportunities to the bilingual residents because the need for guides that speak multiple languages would be high.
