During the last fews months I have been working on a project about the sport Soccer "Tactical Soccer Skills."I have noticed that working on my own is a little difficult because everything depends on me and no one else. While i have worked on this project I have gained responsibility and confidence in myself so when I work alone, I can finish the project and get a good grade. This helps me because doing big projects can also help me because it helps me get more work done which will make me do small projects faster and be much more perfect
I liked how the teacher let us pick a topic that we like instead of the teacher choosing the topic for us.I have seen myself using much more tools on editing and making new projects.I have told myself that I will never get through this and it isn't possible to finish.I have been shown that you can accomplish anything and that you just have to think about what I am going to do.I told the teacher I didn't know what to do,so I created a website and started to work on it.Then I started to post facts and soccer videos and I told myself that I was only go to do that.
I wonder If my page would ever become a website that would be viewed a lot or talked about a lot.I told myself that If that I worked hard

Finally, I learned how to be more responsible by myself. In my last classes, my teachers were technically always there to tell me step by step what to do and how to do my assignments. In a certain way, it made me kind of lazy and entirely dependent of my teachers. However in this course it was not like that; instead, my instructor just gave me the assignments, instructions, and deadlines, and I must write my essays and summited it on time. This absence of guide absolutely made me to react that it was time to me to do my assignments by myself, demonstrate what I know, and ask for help just whenever it is
When I found out I qualified to be a candidate for the NJHS, I knew I had to take this chance. This group is made up of people who depict leadership, character, citizenship, academic success, and service and I would love to join. These characteristics wouldn't just be valuable for a candidate to have, but for everyone to have to exceed in life. If I were to be in the National Junior Honor Society, it would give me an opportunity to ameliorate my future and motivate me to do better.
Students learn if they can work in large groups or if they work better individually. They also learn what kind of learner they are when it comes to taking in information given to them by the teacher. Not every student is the same, and they learn that is it okay to be different and to be proud of the person they are. Students learn how to deal with conflicts and resolve the matter in a calm fashion.
This semester in Child Development has helped me a great deal. I came into this class wanting to be a Child Development teacher at the high school level. I am leaving this class with the same ambition to become a Child Development teacher. I have learned so much by taking this class and I know it will all be helpful in the future once I am standing at the front of a classroom. Also, just by watching the way Mary teaches the class, I have learned things that I want to take into my own style of teaching.
I learned from my peers that I am a better writer than I thought I was and that increased my confidence in my writing ability. This didn’t just teach me about myself; I learned how to write several different types of papers. I improved throughout the semester as I learned how to analyze for rhetorical appeals, research an issue, and evaluate a topic. I am glad that I was able to learn a lot from this class, as well as read my peers work. It was intriguing to see how others write and what topic are important to them. Lastly, I was proud of all my work that I accomplished in this
Over the course of this class I have pieced together many things about my own life that before went unnoticed. I am now able to see things in a bit of a different light. Now that I have been introduced to the realm of psychology I understand some of the reasons for behavior around me. I have learned that there is a reason for most everything and a lot of our behaviors and mental processes can be explained through psychology. Studies have been conducted for many years to try and pinpoint the source of our behavior and it is not something that most people think about every day. Having a better understanding of why we operate the way we do will help me to better understand myself and the others around me.
“The Story of an Hour” was a story set in a time dominated by men. During this time women were dependent on men, but they always dreamed of freedom. Most people still think that men should be dominant and in control. They think that without men, women can’t do anything and that they can’t be happy. Well this story has a twist.
...dless of what I am trying to accomplish. I feel that I am much better now, in persuading someone through my writings; which would definitely come in handy in the future. The responsibility I have gained during this experience is incredible and has taught me to be a much more organized person. During this semester I was taught a process of how to write a paper and organize it. I found that all of these responsibilities have made me realize that I could definitely take the next step forward in my academic career. Each new experience I involve myself in has made me continue to grow and constantly learn something new. I am someone who has never really enjoyed English classes in the past and I when I registered for English 101 I only saw it as a requirement to graduate but I really did enjoy this English course and I know that it was something that was worthwhile for me.
The stimulations were really eye opening. I was able to see through the eyes of a child with a learning disability in different areas. I always understood that children who have learning disabilities learned differently, but I didn’t imagine how extreme the difference could be. The problems were hard for me and became frustrating. I now know firsthand how frustrating it can be for students who have learning disabilities in different areas. It’s amazing what extra time or shorter questions can do to help increase understanding. I realize that some things that come naturally to me may be extremely difficult for someone who learns differently. As a new teacher, I will make sure to teach children strategies and develop assignments that increase student understanding.
On the night of November 5th 2014, many students gathered in the Mancheski Executive Seminar room, in the Lender School of Business at 6:30 p.m. A short film called “Two Million Minutes” was shown which was about the contrasts of the ways three superpowers of the 21st century- China, India, and the United States- prepare high school students for careers in the global economy. There were also three primary speakers that went into a discussion at the end of this short film, their names were Xi Chen whom is apart of the sociology apartment, Mohammad Elahee, apart of International Business, and lastly Mordechai Gordon, whom is apart of the Education department.
During this semester I have had the chance to gain more knowledge and apply what I have learned to my field experience. I enjoyed having the chance to work with these students in summer school because it allowed me to see why they are struggling. Most of them just needed more guided practice and more attention to the subject. My tutee showed me how important it is to consider the seven critical factors, apply my knowledge from inside and outside of the college of education, and allowed me to analyze my global awareness of my surroundings. My tutee did not trouble with much, in fact, he understood everything just needed more guidance to follow all the instructions and to stay on task. I knew he got bored easily and my way of being successful
An ill judged segment of an episode of Channel Nine’s weekly show – 60 Minutes – caused a story that was supposed to focus on the heartwarming journey of recent quadriplegic Alex McKinnon into a character defamation of Cameron Smith. Early in 2014, McKinnon was playing in the National Rugby League competition for the Newcastle Knights against the Melbourne Storm, and was faced with life in a wheelchair after fracturing his C4 and C5 vertebrae. It took eight minutes for McKinnon to be stretchered off the field, before Smith – the opposition captain – is seen consulting the referee about the incident, and questioned whether a penalty should have been awarded. Fast track 14 months, and 60 Minutes dedicated the entire program to the journey of
Creativity, it’s a broad topic of just new things and ideas among people. The definition of creativity is the use of the imagination or original ideas, especially in the production of an artistic work. PBS describes creativity as, “The new ideas and new connections between ideas, and ways to solve problems in any field or realm of our lives. The concept of creativity is often hard to grasp because creativity isn 't a tangible thing its just and idea. Also, because it’s hard to differ between a truly original idea and an idea that is just shaped from others. With all this being said, it can be hard to figure out where creativity comes from.
Over the course of the semester, I have learned a few things about myself. I have learned that I can be independent, I always knew myself as someone who could do mostly everything on their own. This semester really made me realize how independent I could actually be. Not only have I learned how independent I am I have also realized the importance of time management. With not having a strict class schedule it was a lot different than what I was originally used to. After a few weeks, I learned ways that would work best for me, for example writing down that I needed to get done. I learned that I need to focus on what 's ahead of me to accomplish what I want to succeed in, to manage what needs to be done ahead of time to stay caught up.
