A gender-role attitude is how a person believes men and women should act based on what they think is appropriate. My gender role-attitude is egalitarian. This is because I believe that in the household men and women should have equal roles and share their responsibilities. I also believe that men and women are both equals and should share their duties in terms of the household work and financially providing for their family. I believe that both men and women have the emotional capacity to be both assertive and nurturing. Never has a culture been found where women have dominated. The slow and steady transformation from a sexist society to one that allows inferior genders to perform similar tasks, if not the same as their superior counterparts, may disturb the ideological mindset of figures with authority; however, it provides inferior genders with the opportunity to branch out socially, economically, and politically.
