Future Career Research Paper

I have many future educational and career goals. First of all, educationally, I would like to graduate high school with honors. After graduating high school, I hope to continue on to college and obtain an Associate's Degree in Biology, and then attend nursing school to receive a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Career wise, I would like to begin as a registered nurse. However, ultimately I hope to obtain a Master’s of Science in Nursing and have the possibility to become a nurse practitioner. While these dreams are ambitious, I truly believe that I am prepared to accomplish my goals because of my life experiences. In order to graduate high school with honors, I must maintain or even raise my grade point average; therefore, keeping up my grades. In addition to keeping my grades up, I would also like to continue with all of my extra curricular activities. In the end, I would like to Although I have not decided which school to attend to receive my bachelor’s degree, I know exactly why my goal is to become a nurse. Throughout my life I have been surrounded by friends and family that have had health issues. My best friend was diagnosed with level four Cerebral Palsy from birth, leading her to depend on a wheelchair for mobility for the rest of her life. A former classmate

Even though I did not specify the exact type of nursing field, I am drawn to pediatric nursing. The earliest interest towards pediatrics was during my best friend’s physical therapy session because she would want to be done, but I would encourage her to keep pushing through. I think that even though there was not a big impact on my life I saw the impact on her and that lead me to want to become a pediatric nurse. While there are multiple reasons for this decision, I truly believe that without my friends and their hardships that I never would have had the aspiration to one day become a pediatric
