One must drink, when one is thirsty. One must eat, when one is hungry. One must survive, when one wants to avoid death. One must persevere through the failures to reach the successes. Some people struggle to do this. The most common people are freshmen. Freshmen are likely to drop out of school and are likely to jump into the workforce. Due to the lack of knowledge, these dropouts live a low and tough life. Therefore, freshmen should not drop out, and they must overcome homesickness, they must mature, and they must overcome overwhelmingness in order to be successful in the future. If freshmen choose to skip college and go straight to the work force, they will not receive the prosperous jobs due to the lack of education. If freshmen had to use student loans during their first year and drop out after, they will not be able to pay off the loan debt due to the lack money acquired from the low-life job. Ultimately, it will cause them to stay at their parents’ home until they receive proper pay; which will probably take another 20 years of working. Therefore, freshmen must endure and persevere through overwhelmingness in order to stay in school (O'Shaughnessy). If not, they will be acting the facts above. A young man named Ty, who goes to University of Akron for basketball, had a problem of enduring the exhaustion, stress, and overwhelmingness between school and basketball. He almost had to drop out because he could not persevere through it. Luckily for him, he overcame it and is still in school and is still playing. If freshman prepare this way, they will not drop out. Plus, they will not have to face the repercussions of dropping out. Overall, they will have successful careers because of the education they received in college. Works Cited
