This idyllic but realistic scenario can happen to each of you who wish to go abroad on a break. Don't you think? Well, today I will talk about this possible destination which is Tahiti the main island in French Polynesia, its friendly population, and what a tourist can do to enjoy his trip there.
Body
I/ First, let see where Tahiti and her islands are located compared to the rest of the world.
Tahiti and her islands are officially known as French Polynesia. (Which island in Tahiti?). They are located in the middle of an imaginary triangle which starts with Hawaii in the north, New Zealand in the west and finally, Easter Island in the east. (It is actually 5 and ½ hours from Hawaii to Tahiti on a plane going south). These islands were among the last places on earth to be settled by humans. French Polynesia consists in 118 islands and atolls scattered on an area of 4,167 sq km of ocean and divided in 5 archipelagos.
- The Society Islands, the westernmost archipelago, is subdivided into the Windward Islands (Tahiti, Moorea, Meiao, as well as Marlon Brando's atoll, Tetiaroa) and the Leeward Islands (Huahine, Taha'a, Raiatea, Bora Bora and Maupiti) and is home to over ¾ of the population.
- The Tuamotus, to the east of the Society Islands, consists of 77 atolls.
- The Marquesas, north of the Tuamotus and not far from the equator, comprises about 15 islands islets, 6 of which are inhabited.
- The Australs, south of the Societies, consists of 5 high islands and 1 atoll, straddling the Tropic of Capricorn and lying between 575 km and 1275 km south of Tahiti.
- The tiny Gambier Archipelago, southeast of the Tuamotus, is 1600 km from Tah...

...t to continue your night after this, there are many dance shows which are happening in hotels or some restaurants. Or if you happen to be over there in July, you will get the chance to enjoy the "Heiva I Tahiti" which is the Tahiti's July Festival where all the professional group dancers compete for the best group of the year. And if you still have a little bit of energy, the night clubs are open until 4 in the morning.
Conclusion
It's hard to believe that places like French Polynesia actually exist. Pin cushions of land, dotted with palm trees, in an impossibly clear, aqua lagoon? Tropical fruit dripping from the trees? Only in your fantasies, you may think...
French Polynesia is like a choose-your-own adventure kind of place. So don't wait, pack your bags today and try to fit all of your belongings in it because once there you might never want to leave.

The Galapagos Islands are located in the Pacific Ocean with a chain that stretches as far as 220 kilometers from the most northern to the most southern island. This archipelago of volcanic islands is positioned in a way where some islands are found north of the Equator and others are found south of the Equator. There is even one island, Volcan Wolf, which is positioned directly on the equatorial line. The Galapagos has absolutely no indigenous population, and those 25,000 citizens that do live there now speak primarily Spanish. There are a total of 18 main islands, 3 small islands, and 107 islets (very small islands).

The Polynesian peoples have a lifestyle quite different than that of any other culture, as living on an island requires a level of flexible adaptability in order to cope with such a different, sometimes difficult environment. We see the way diverse cultures build their lives around their circumstances and how they respect them in their cultural myths and stories. The Polynesian legends emphasize the physical environment that they live in. They are quite different than any other region in the world, but the beauty and individuality of the Polynesian culture is prominent as seen in their mythology.

Before arriving in Hawaii, I thought I was coming to a tropical paradise, beautiful sunsets, nice trees, long walks on the beach, generally a place to have fun and relax. But Hawaii was nothing like what I had imagined.
Melanesia is one of three major cultural areas in the Pacific Ocean. Melanesia itself is part of a larger culture area called Oceania that includes Melanesia, Polynesia, Micronesia. The native populations of Melanesians are described as dark-skinned with frizzy hair ("Endangered Languages"). They are near Australia and they lie in a semicircle off the northeast coast of that continent (“Wikipeadia”). Within the region the countries of Melanesia are Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Santa Cruz, and New Caledonia. People mistakenly think that Melanesian languages are classified under the Polynesia languages ("Lost Language, Lost Culture"). Fiji is part of Melanesia; who has migrated from Vanuatu and some of the smaller outer islands are populated by Polynesians around Melanesia, and others by small groups of Micronesians (“Wikipeadia”). The nearest country to Fiji is Tonga, which is part of the Polynesian island; thus, making people mistakenly think that Melanesia is part of the Polynesian area. But originally, Melanesian people speak Fijian, Motu, and Yabim; which is part of the Papuan languages. Most...
Located deep within the vast open waters of the South Pacific Ocean is a nation that is seemingly hidden to the rest of the world. The country of Vanuatu is a world within itself full of cultural diversities, geographical wonders and natural beauty that cannot compare to anywhere else in the world. The natives who inhabit the cluster of islands that make up the country of Vanuatu are proud of their heritage and have strong beliefs in their ways of life. With countless influences from other cultures, they have become their own breed of sorts. Their richness and cultural diversity is one of its main attraction to visitors, who can witness rituals and traditional ceremonies that are an integral part of modern life. Due to the natural boundaries, large open stretches of water, and the jungle and mountainous terrain, tourism is very low, leaving Vanuatu as one of the most untouched native areas remaining on Earth today. By taking a deeper look inside at what all it has to offer, Vanuatu is a county of the South Pacific rich in culture and local traditions that many may soon realize that they need to discover.

The inhabited islands clustered in the Caribbean Sea are an interesting study in cultural and social identity. Colonized by european powers from the Fifteenth Century, the Caribbean islands have become mixtures of cultures from Europe, Africa, and India, as well as from the original inhabitants of the islands. As a result, describing and defining the Caribbean is a much more difficult task than it appears on the surface. The norms and ideas of identity and history that exist on one island are vastly different than those that exist on a near neighbor, despite similarities in geography and history.
