Bonjour! I am deeply honored receiving this opportunity to be a part of the French Honors Society. I have been looking forward to this since my sophomore year. I believe this society does great things and I know I could play a part in furthering the impression it makes. I feel that I am qualified to be inducted into a society as prestigious as the Absegami High School French Honors Society.
Originally I signed up to take Latin as my language course and I loved it until I was exposed to French. After taking French 1, I knew it was the best fit for me. Deciding to take French was a great decision because I have got a lot out of it. It has helped me get a deeper understanding of the culture. For example, when I was in French 1, every
Thank you for considering me for induction into the James Monahan Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. I have been looking to join this society ever since I heard about it and have been trying my best so I can. I believe that I demonstrate the qualities of service, leadership, and character and would be a great addition to the National Junior Honor Society.
I am exceptionally grateful for this opportunity to possibly be a member of this very prestigious organization. Every day I work tremendously hard to be noticed by both other scholars and my teachers. Now that an opportunity has come, I am truly excited to demonstrate and live by the values of The National Junior Honors Society. I hope to further expose and show both my dedication and want to join arms with my community and my peers and I wish to continue to work with passion and fire to shape the world into a brighter place.
Europeans during the 16th Century had made unique technological and intellectual advancements, they expanded their knowledge and continued to spread their dominance across the world. These advancements perpetuated the idea that their race was superior to other races and that they had the right to hold other groups of people accountable for what they saw as transgressions. Europeans felt the need to control and make sure that all groups of people were following their moral state of conducts. In History of A Voyage to the Land Of Brazil, Jean De Lery introduces the main motivation of the Europeans journey to the Americas by emphasizing that it was influenced by Christian values ( Lery 3). This shows how the concept of Christianity is important
It is a tremendous honor to be considered for membership in the most prestigious Honor Society available at Wapato High School. It is even more grand to be able to work towards enrollment in the Society side by side with such an astoundingly gifted group of young men and women. I am only being considered for potential membership in the National Honors Society because I have demonstrated an exemplary academic attitude, and have proven this through the grades I have attained during the years I have spent in the Wapato School District and the fondness amongst my teachers I have achieved. There are also other characteristics besides good scholarship I must fill for membership in the Society, those being services I have done to benefit others in the community, leadership positions I have held, and an original and interesting demonstration of
I’m so happy to be given the opportunity to join National Junior Honor Society(NJHS). I would love to be a member. I think it is important for kids to be involved in the community. Also, myself personally it would be an honor to be a face for our school.
I wish to take the time to give thanks for this impeccable opportunity in applying for the highly sought after National Honor Society. I have been looking forward to embarking on this journey since I heard about this organization freshman year. I am truly elated to be one of the many students that qualifies, as I know the standards of excellence and character that must be exemplified and met.
The English Honor Society appeals to me in many ways due to the presented opportunity of meeting new people, helping others while advancing my skills in the English language, and reviewing the subject of English Language Arts altogether. I am very intrigued by many of the mentioned ‘activities’ during the introduction meeting. I enjoy watching plays and musicals that relate to both historical and modern literature; they help to give different interpretations of the main themes and ideas found throughout it and also aid the audience to understand and comprehend ambiguous details. I love children and would be ecstatic to respond to their letters to ‘Santa’ as an ‘elf’. I also want to refine my skills that are English-related (such as writing
As a student at Northvale Public School, I have grown up with my older siblings being inducted into an organization called the National Junior Honor Society. I had seen all the hard work and dedication they put into their school work and activities just to get into this society, making me want to be just like them. Then a few weeks ago, I found a note on my desk in homeroom telling me that I had been nominated to be apart of this society. Through citizenship and character, leadership, and service, I intend on being inducted into the society I have heard so much about. Though it will take a lot of effort this school year, being a part of this society is a dream of mine that I will make sure to come true.
I was very excited when I heard that I had been invited into National Junior Honors Society. The first time I heard of NJHS, it instantly became a goal of mine. When my older sister left for college I was very sad, so I think that this is a way for me to keep a part of her. I have always been that little girl no one understood, because I’m always very excited to learn and get back to school after summer break. I’m very happy to see that I’ve been invited, but this is why I should be accepted.
In conclusion, I would like to become a member of the National Junior Honor Society. I hope that you will see the characteristics I have for this group and consider accepting me.
Ile de la Cite is at the heart of Paris and has many famous and sentimental places. The focal point of the island is the Notre-Dame Cathedral. Some other places on the island are Conciergerie, Square Jean XXIII, and Bertie's CupCakery. Throughout the time it has stayed an important military and political center. Ile de la Cité is very organized and well cared for, so it is considered prime real estate. Because it is a popular tourist and residential place this island has many bridges.
Like many nations, the French have many commonly known stereotypes. Similarly, like many nations, the French have many true stereotypes. Here are a few stereotypes of the French; they are rude, consume great amounts of cheese, are great lovers, have a weak military, and smoke excessively. How do these stereotypes come about? The reason is many people do not get the chance to travel and see for themselves what unique traditions, or lifestyles that each nation has. However, the few people from that country that do travel, come back and provide rough generalizations about the other nations people, also known as stereotypes. The people of that country believe the stereotypes. This is why some stereotypes are true and some are not. However, the

I am growing as a person for just under fourteen years now, built by my internal visions and wonderful surroundings. At a young age when I first began to dress myself, my image of who I am and where I fit into this world began to develop. Notre Dame will provide opportunities to explore new aspects of myself and others, both spiritually and academically. I am interested in the aspect of spirituality because of future involvement, and to create a spiritual core that is there when I may need it most. Many of the most important lessons I have learned have been guided by those with different opinions, backgrounds, cultures and experiences. Influencing a real difference is important to me, and I have a strong desire to create and accomplish. Expression is vital to growth, and I believe that sharing what I’ve learned, as well as continuing to discover the world around me, will foster growth from within myself.
When I was in high school I was given an alternative to either take a foreign language class or an advanced technology class to graduate. I was so happy I had a choice because I struggled in Spanish in middle school and knew other languages would be hard to. Instead of taking a foreign language class in high school I took a computer class called visual basic. I chose take an advanced technology course because I was interested in computers and wanted to major in Computer Information Systems in college.
