What is a time capsule? A time capsule is what it sounds like - a capsule that travels though time. This time capsule will be going one hundred years into the future. Actually, the dictionary defines a time capsule as a receptacle containing documents or objects of the current period for discovery in the future. Three items that stand as a picture of life in 2016 are the movie Captain America:Civil War, the iPhone 5s, and a Lego tub.
Legos are an iconic building toy for this generation. In Danish the word Lego means play well. Ole Kirk Christiansen first created the Lego in 1939; his son Godtfred then improved upon the design in the 1960s, creating the modern day Lego brick. Lego’s headquarters are in Denmark. They are currently working on a new head quarters that will rival Google’s head quarters in California. There are approximately seven Lego sets sold every second, equaling over 700,000 Lego sets being sold a day worldwide. The best selling Lego set is not actually a set, but the Lego tub. This first item included in this time capsule will be a Lego tub, representing the most popular toy ever sold.

Over thirty years later, the cell phone has evolved greatly. In 2007 Steve Jobs created the first iPhone and when it was released it was the first touchscreen phone. The iPhone has become a intrical part of every day life for most of the population. Within the iPhone is a means of communication, a personal computer with access to the Internet, a place to play games and much more. Apple has sold over seven billion iPhones. The second item included in this capsule is an iPhone 5s, which is undoublty the most popular cell phone in 2016, representing
The Lego Movie is the story of a complete and utter dystopia but everybody does not know it. When Lord Business pretends to give them taco Tuesday as a form of gift or propaganda, he actually intends to glue them all in one place using the kragle (krazy glue with letters wiped off the tube). When he tries to do this, he is stopped by a simple minded construction worker, who at an earlier date has accidentally found the piece of resistance and learnt how to be a master builder. Through this confrontation will Lord Business rule over the world or will Emmet be able to save his home from being destroyed.

Toy World, Inc is a manufacturer of plastic toys for children, founded in 1973 by David Dunton. In the past, the company's production schedules had always been highly seasonal, reflecting the seasonality of sales. Jack McClintock, president and part owner of this company, is considering a proposal to adopt level monthly production for the coming year.
LEGO looked into Silver Stork Research’s U.S Mom and U.S Dads Reports, and LEGO’s Systems research, which were both forms of secondary research. According to Silver Stork research, parents were using Internet as a major source for parental tips. That research brought forth the idea of using a dialogue website. The research used was targeting both moms and dads everywhere. After concluding the research, it appeared that dads were highly involved in family playtime, and their favorite toy growing up was the LEGO. As for moms, they use the Internet heavily for tips and life hacks about being a good parent. As for primary research, the first study LEGO did was called the “Holiday Wish List”, which asked parents what they want their kids playing with all year. After that first primary research, LEGO held interviews with child development experts and further understand how to utilize their products within today’s children. The stockholder group was the consumers buying the products, LEGO wanted to use parents to bring LEGOs into their kid’s life. I feel as if LEGO did a great job targeting their stockholders and getting the right information needed from
The LEGO Group organization is famous due to its flagship product – colourful plastic bricks that can be interlocked to form a variety of figures, and then disconnected again. These binding bricks originated in a wooden form when the company was first established in Billund, Denmark by Kirk Kristiansen in 1932 (The LEGO Group, 2012), and today’s well known plastic version was introduced in 1958 (Rosenberg). The company’s head office is located in Billund to this day, and The LEGO Group remains privately owned by Kristiansen’s family (The LEGO Group, 2012). They currently sell toys and teaching materials in over 130 countries worldwide.
For example, setting up more flag ship theme store at different country 's landmark place that brings the discussing topic in society and expand the budget of promotional tools like holding regular bigger event with attractive finished LEGO expert display. Also, trial experience activities is most direct promotional skill to lead target user to feel the fun of LEGO 's product. Besides, hiring batch of part time and short period promoters for guiding user during their playing. We should focus the children 's personal experience which better than spending enormous figure on advertising of multimedia like TV show and popular magazine. Temporary employing 500 part time promoters for at least 7 years lead time this could permeate LEGO awareness to each level of customers from kids to adult.
If there is one thing that we've learned from history it's the fact that keeping records and artifacts for future generations is crucial for the progress of humanity. We learn from the past and we improve and develop through our successes and mistakes. Ever since writing was invented, people have taken notes on everything: from important events to everyday tasks, from cooking recipes to scientific discoveries. We always leave something behind, and it is always better if we leave the evidence of our existence in an organized manner rather than leaving it in a chaotic mess. And this is probably how the idea of a time capsule was born.
Time Capsule Discovering artifacts is a major part of learning how people and civilizations thrived in the past. In the future, our time period now will be apart of the past and people will be searching for artifacts to learn about how we live today. One way to make the search easier, and to share information about the ways we live, would be to make a time capsule and fill it with objects we use today. Some important things that I would put into a time capsule would be maps to show different places and landforms, a history textbook to give a deeper insight into the past, the latest census to show the population of the United States and the ethnic background of the population, money such as our coins and dollars to show our currency system,
Lego’s were originally made as a tool to promote creativity in children, and prompt children to use their time creatively and constructively. Currently LEGO still advertises their products as instruments of creativity. Since their creation however, Lego’s have embraced commercialization, and mass media, departing from their more interchangeable building blocks to more specialized pieces and directions; which is not only hindering the original goal of promoting creativity but it is also bringing the consumer world into simple creative play for children, neither of which is a particularly good thing. It is important to recognize that even well-meaning products like Lego are absolutely corruptible by corporate interest, and parents and consumers
When people hear about Legos they almost always think of those little blocks that kids use along with their imagination and build and create new things. While that’s true, Legos are mainly known for being building blocks, they are also so much more. The Lego company is constantly coming out with new things; building sets with different themes and figurines representing so many different characters and people. Legos are also something that are becoming more culturally diverse as time goes on. There has been an evolution of Legos and what they have become are and how they have been more inclusive, why it is important to be representative, and the benefits of seeing diversity from a young age.
The swift tides of change sweep the world; adjusting and revising civilizations at a rapid rate. Over the course of even a few years the daily lives of people as well as the state of the planet, can change drastically. One way to preserve information about the present is what is known as a time capsule. A time capsule is a container that people put objects or writing in which is then often buried until a certain number of years have passed. The capsule is then opened by future generations and the items give an image of what life was like before.
The very first iPhone was announced by the founder of Apple, Steve Jobs, in 2007. His vision was to reinvent the phone. iPhones have revolutionized smartphones and have shaped the cell phone industry into what it is today. On January 9, 2007, Steve Jobs put together an incredible keynote presentation. He stated that he would be “introducing a wide-screen ipod with touch controls, a revolutionary mobile phone, and a breakthrough Internet device” (Ritchie, 2015). The audience assumed that this meant that Mr. Jobs would be launching three separate devices. However, it was only one device, the iPhone. Within the past 7 years, Apple has been able to tweak its iPhones by incorporating major redesigns. These redesigns use combinations
Others have noted that we're all travelling forward in time (in fact, the theory relativity says that we are all travelling at the speed of light through spacetime) so I'll tackle the travelling-backward-in-time part of the question. And that breaks down into issues of whether backwards time travel is a theoretical possibility, and whether it's a practical one.
In 2007, Apple designed the first touch screen phone and it was a huge change and after three years, everyone wants to buy touch screen phone and Apple became the super star of the smartphone market. Apple’s unique designs changed the definition of fashion in the smartphone world, sine then, apple become the leader of smartphone market.
Time travel is feat thought by most to be impossible. After all time travel is what many science fiction movies are made of. Let us not forget such movies as “Back to the Future” or “The Time Machine.” Yet unlike those movies time travel is not necessarily fiction. “We are in our own time machines, our hearts are pumping blood, we're breathing, we are existing through time (at least until our own personal time machines seriously malfunction).” (Need help citing this!) Still surrounding this topic is a series of theories, and surrounding these series is a number of flaws. Theories and flaws that need to be explained to fully understand the idea of time travel. First things first we must state the basics.
