I agree that the free speech should not be violated, but it’s not absolute. Some speeches are behaviors, such as openly slander, and some behaviors are speeches, such as burning the national flag. The laws give people rights and freedoms, but people shouldn’t abuse their rights and freedom to infringe others in order to gain their own interests. For instance, that one has freedom of person doesn’t mean that he can intrude the prohibited military zone. One cannot falsely claims that there is bomb on the plane because this speech is already the kind of behavior that has social harm and essentially disturbs the social order. I also agree that social media platform such as Facebook, snapchat etc should take a large responsibility to “make sure it’s not helping to spread outright lies masquerading as news or publishing the output of made-up news organizations” because the companies are supposed yo work to provide platforms that are used well instead of being used by some lawbreaker as “some powerful tools for growth: anonymity and an easy way to seek out people with similar interests.” I think the first amendment applies to the government, but
