My Family Have you ever been influenced by some important person that helped you be the person that you are today? I have been. The people that have had influence on me are the most important humans beings, my family. But before I begin talking about my family, I want to describe to you the place that we spend most of the time together which also means something important to me and my family. This place is called the family room. This room is small but cozy. It is painted in white and has three windows decorated with beautiful curtains. By the windows you can appreciate a nice view of some beautiful trees and a nice pool. On the walls there are some family photos like the ones that show where my brothers and I were born, my graduation photo, some family members photos like my grandparents, and some paintings made by one of my brothers. Also inside this room there is a nice home theater that includes a nice stereo and TV, and a new compact computer. But this is not all, this room has some very comfortable furniture and I can say that they are comfortable because I use them to watch TV, a movie, or just sit and rest. Also the furniture is used by my brothers to sit and play nitendo, to study, or play with the computer. But from all this furniture there is one chair that is the most cozy chair that I have ever sat upon and that is my father's chair. So this is our room, which is very important to us and has a lot of special things, but the most special part of this room is when it brings my family together. I could begin the book of my life with a picture of my parents. They are important because they helped in my development. Also, they gave me the things that I needed to grow up in the moment that I needed and they still gave me everything that I needed to become somebody in the future. Among these things is the education that I have received all in my life, my basic needs like food, clothes, medicine, a place to live, and the most important thing, the love. Like for example, by being there when I needed somebody to talk to and giving me speeches when I do something wrong. Also, they care for me when I am sick and they give me the necessary things to get better. They teach me good values like how to behave, to respect other people, and to share with other people. Sometimes they push me in certain directions and have high expectations for me, but now I really appreciate everything they have taught me. I understand why they do certain things and it is because my parents want the best for me. On certain occasions I get mad, but later appreciate their words of wisdom and understand. My parents are wonderful. Now, about the rest of my family, my two brothers all I can say is that they are wonderful, too. With them I have learned to share, to have fun, and to understand different points of view in different situations. They are younger than me, but that doesn't matter because sometimes people think that because they are older they know everything and that is not true, we can learn from those younger than us too. Also I have shared moments in which we laughed, or we get sad, but there are always moments that I will remember. In conclusion families made the difference in many of the situations that life gives you and without them you would be unable to give the love and support to your children need which they need to become mature and responsible adults. Thanks to my family today I can said all of these things to other people.
A Scientific American article published in October 2001 and named "Drowning New Orleans" essentially predicts the large scale impact a giant hurricane would have on the area, years before Hurricane Katrina.
There are a few trends that I noticed when I had begin to analyze my family. Each and every last person that has been mentioned in this paper has been extremely resilient. For that reason I feel as though resiliency is something that runs deep throughout my veins. There has been countless times in my life in which the easy choice would be to just quit, but everyone in my family has eyes on me. In my family I have played a very dynamic role. When I was born I was the very first child, grandchild, and great grandchild in the family on both sides. From the time I was very young it had always been engrained in me that there will always be someone watching me. I have two younger brothers and countless younger cousins who all look up to me in one way or
Precisely, be member of a family is like parts of a body, they support and help each other. Build a strong relationship doing things together, not just fun stuff, like playing, watching a movie, but also prepare for dinner, do chores, or go to the church together, volunteer to help others, build respect for elderly, for sick, and for authority as well. Children will learn the sense of responsibility that will carries into adulthood, they will not need to be reminded to be on time for work or for meeting deadlines. They will be respectful not just in the family setting but also at school, at work, and everywhere they go. My dad used to say, “Teach the child when he is in young age, because when he i...
Since we were little we were taught that the family is the main support of the person. It is a place where we feel the support and love, where we are surrounded by loved ones, where we are accepted as who we are. In a family we find understanding and protection, when it seems that the whole world is against us.
Family has major impacts on our lives. From the moment you were born, your family has taught you right from wrong. We get our religion, values, gender roles, language, and habits from our families. We get our status in society through your family’s connection and wealth which later can determine one’s job opportunities in life. Although we grow up and start to develop our own values and beliefs and opinions, the family values beliefs and opinion that were instilled in you since you were little never really go away.
I have three siblings along with three nephews. I have a younger sister, older sister, and one older brother. My older sister is the one that had my nephews. We all lived under the same roof until I moved out for college. My mother was more like my father in the house because my father was away working for us, and even though my siblings are her children, it seems that they 're her siblings too. It felt that I was the parent of my nephews and little sister because of the way I had to care for them because everyone else was working. I connect with my immediate family firmly. We always look out for each other because we mean so much to one another. I
When the word “family” is discussed, most people think of mothers, fathers, and other siblings. Some people think of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and even cousins and more on the pedigree tree. Without family in people's lives, they would not be the same people that they grew up to be today and in the future. When people hear the word family they think about, the ones who will help them in any way they can whether it’s money, support, advice, or anything to help them succeed in life. Family will forever be the backbone of support.

I cannot imagine my life without my siblings and I am extremely lucky to have been blessed with them. Even though siblings can make our lives much more difficult, I am very happy to have gained these values throughout my
I have often wondered what it is that makes me who I am today. Is it the people I interact with? Is it the things I do on a daily basis or my interests and hobbies? I have come to realize that it is a combination of all of these things. My family, weight lifting and Grey's Anatomy have had the most impact on me and shape who I am today.
The point is that family is one of the most important forces responsible for shaping who we are and who we will become. This is why I devote a lot of time ensuring my children are able to build a solid foundation from which to
People and life are constantly changing, people come in and out of your life, but your family will always remain present in your life. They are the ones who will never leave you. Though the Webster’s dictionary considers family as "the basic unit of society traditionally consisting of two parents rearing their children” (Webster). Family is the biggest part of an individual’s life. Families tend to each other’s needs and we create a bond with our family that will never be breakable. Family values should be treasured and remembered. No one could love you more than your family does; the best love is from your family. They will never let you stand alone and will always stand beside you and help you get through any obstacle.
My family is who I have socialized most with since they were the first ever people I interacted with. Family has had a large influence over who I am today because they are the people who I learned almost everything from (primary socialization). The reason I have such high morals and values is because of my family. By observing and taking from their behavior I was able to form my own values through nurture. Although they taught me a lot of beneficial things that make me a better person, I have also learned from some of my family members bad habits. My uncle always smoked around the kids, including myself, when I was younger and I never liked the smell and now I associate that memory with cigarettes and it makes me not have any desire to smoke whatsoever. I also had another uncle who went to jail a lot for selling drugs and other related things, and since I definitely did not want to end up in jail I now make smart decisions, and associate myself with people who benefit me. On the whole my family has made me a nobler person by both their good and bad
