Career Research Paper A lot of people struggle with picking a career, but I always knew I wanted to be in the forensic science field. Ever since I was a little girl watching crime shows and learning more about the different jobs in the field, I became more interested in becoming a Medical Examiner. Being able to analyze crime scenes to determine what happened at the scenes is captivating to me. I believe that we need jobs in this field because people need answers when their loved ones have passed away. I chose medical examiner because it aligns perfectly with my personality, having investigative capabilities and I’m able to switch to different career opportunities while being in the forensic science field. On the site (Bls.gov) it tells us, “Forensic science technicians aid criminal investigations by collecting and analyzing evidence”. Not only does this career match my personality, the main part of the job is things I enjoy doing like analyzing evidence. Someone who likes to change their minds all the time, One of the main benefits that attract me to this job is the fact that I'm able to switch because with a degree in the forensic science field there are many different types of careers you can choose from (Myfuture) says similar careers are Coroners, Autopsy Technician, and Forensic Investigator, all these jobs also have something to do with examine bodies as a part of the job. Not only are those jobs I would be able to do if I were looking for another job besides being a medical examiner with a bachelor's degree in forensic science. To add more about why I want this career is the high pay, If you were to become a Forensic Medical Examiner you would have the highest pay in forensic
