What I Already Know Traveling all over the world to discover the allure, refinement, and life of a new culture sounds phenomenal, does it not? Because I do not want to be like Jay Gatsby from The Great Gatsby and travel all over the world from war or with my illicit money, therefore I have to get a legal and moral job that will permit me to do this. One day on the Internet I stumbled across the potential career of a foreign affairs officer. I concluded that I would have to look into this profession because it sounded quite interesting. I of course would have to factor in how the Great Recession affected my career path to see if it would still be available for me. Then my exploration began. I first came to the conclusion that a foreign affairs officer might be the job for me when I realised that I really wanted to travel and experience a variety of different cultures. I really want to speak different languages and meet people who were raised differently than I was. I did not know a lot about this job before I started my research. I did not even know what the best degrees were to become a foreign affairs officer. I knew that I had to do a lot of investigation to acquire what I wanted to know and find out. I decided that I wanted to pursue the knowledge of how I could become a foreign affairs officer and how the Great Recession of 2008, caused a great deal by over speculation and compelled people today to have lower expectations and save more, affected my specific job and what the opportunities of getting that profession were tout de suite. The Story of My Search My inquiry took about a week and a half to find all of the information I was looking for. The un question I decided to pursue was the foreign affairs officer job descri... ... middle of paper ... ...I should have a procedure to get there. The purpose of this report is to summarize the findings of an interview with Rusty Metcalfe, Chief Information Officer of Fundamental Administrative Services, LLC, and analyze the competitive and strategic positioning of the firm within the long-term, post-acute senior care industry. I interviewed Mr. Metcalfe on Wednesday November 15, 2016 and covered a broad array of topics including the department’s history and structure, risks and opportunities, strategic alignment and near and long-term goals.
Therefore, I learned at the end of the interview that this career that I chose to pursue is very diverse. Meaning, there are endless routes, that branches out from this one field of study. The possibilities are endless; however, hard work is still expected. This interview did not reshape my objectives and goals. It has rather made me realize to stick to my goals and objectives. It has reminded me, to continue to be the best; by learning from the best and surrounding myself with the best.

During the term I learned about how the real world actually works and the complexities of day to day life. I can apply my knowledge to my everyday life. One thing that surprised me was how much influence the public opinion had on economics. One of the lessons taught me how sometimes comparative advantage is better than absolute advantage. The knowledge I gained from the lesson can be used when I work. Inflation is an issue that everyone can be affected by. During time of inflation, I learned to keep some physical asset, such as gold, which I could sell for a higher price.

In the beginning of September 2005, disappointment and excitement revealed on my face when I boarded the plane to move to the United States of America. The feeling of leaving my families, friends, school, clothes, and culture in Cameroon presented a hardship for me on this journey. Of course, I anticipated this new life because it indicated a fresh start. I envisioned it resembling life in movies, where everything appeared to be simple and life was simply excellent. All things considered, I was heading off to the United States, known for the American dream. To me it meant that everyone is given equal opportunity to prosper, achieve a family, and attain a successful job as long as they are hardworking and determined. I felt exceptionally honored and blessed to have this open door since I realized that it was not provided to everybody. Coming to America denoted my transitioning on the grounds that I deserted my previous lifestyle in Cameroon, began a new chapter in my life once again, and finally became a much grateful individual.
In an increasingly global society, countries are having more intense interactions than ever before. As a result, in order to know enough to be effectively involved in such complex interactions, a well-rounded and ongoing education is key. Calvin Coolidge understood

It does not make me proud to admit that I had difficulties at school and difficulties with taking care of myself here in the US, but I am proud to affirm that I am an honest person with integrity who is not afraid of admitting my shortcomings and overcoming them. More importantly, the challenges I encountered because of that specific upbringing puts me back a few paces in certain areas and has made me more determined to fight to compensate for those areas and beyond. While my aciticity levels in US are not as strong as I had hoped if I didn’t have various disruptions in life, it is what it is, and none of that would hinder my determination to make a successful career at university and in society. I would like to continue to build my strength of character as I encounter more challenges in life, and become an upright citizen of the world.
... by years of resentment and bloodshed. I have returned with a renewed energy for my studies and a determination to use these studies to contribute in the future-to both grassroots work and international diplomacy. As I continue on my journey, I will surely encounter more nervous checkpoint moments, stimulating the moral and social reflections that have become part of my border crossings.
For my graduation project, I chose the career option of being a police officer. Since I was a child I have always wanted to be a police officer when I grow up. My neighbors and I always use to play cops and robbers growing up, and I would always want to be the cop. I would also and still always watch the show “Cops”. I like the show because it is very interesting and I could see myself pursuing that career. That is where it all started.

I still want to learn how to interact with a wider variety of cultures and people. Travel is something I enjoy and being able to communicate and build relationships is important when doing so. I also want to learn more about other people’s success and failure in the business world. I’m a huge fan of documentaries, public speaking, and basically any informative medium. So, pursuing some historical knowledge on the subject of success and failure is something I will look toward in my
Additionally, the challenge that I came across as I encountered different mathematical and economics problems at my latter stages of life contributed greatly towards cementing my desires to further my education in both mathematics and economics at your prestigious institution.
