Starting with the engine of the Mustang GT, with its 5.0 liters, fuel injected, 302 cubic inch V8 motor , putting out over 412 horsepower (Simona para 3). This particular car comes with 2 types of transmissions; the automatic and the 6-speed manual, which both have advantages within themselves (Simona para 7). The automatic is for people who cannot drive a manual vehicle but still wants a car that is sure to keep up with a Chevy Camaro or any other sports car on the road today. The 6-speed manual, though is for people that would like to race their Mustang or just show off what a great engine it has under the hood by doing a little burnout every once in awhile. Along with the transmission, this particular engine is very fast and can get someone in trouble on the road for going too fast. This car will do zero to sixty in 4.7 seconds and even zero to one-hundred in 11.2 seconds (Siler pg 1). There are also two different types of motors that you can get for this vehicle. You can get a V6 motor or a V8 motor. The difference between the two motors is the number of cylinders, the V6 has 6 cylinders compared to the V8 where that motor has 8 cylinders. Also with the lesser amount of cylinders the better gas mileage, so the V6 would get better gas mileage than a V8 model Mustang. This particular model we are describing is a V8 model so this car can get 26 MPG
The 5th generation Mustang has a different body style from all the other generations of Mustangs. Starting with the taillights. The taillights have changed from the normal vertical and wide style lights to three separate vertical medium sized bars. When the turn signal turns on the light comes on in the biggest bar and moves left or right to the smallest bar depending on the direction you are turning. There are three separate bars starting with a wide and tall light cover, moving to a medium sized skinnier light cover until you get to a short and skinny light cover. There are also other features that separate the Mustang from other sports cars like the headlights and hood. The headlights are more modern looking along with LED lights to light up the road more at night. With the hood, the hood is made where it is straight and has a very gradual to no curve as you're going down the front of the hood, unlike most cars. Most cars have a very steep curve going down the front of the hood, unlike this particular car. The Ford Mustang GT can come in an array of colors for the exterior of this car. You can get any color that you would want from Resale Red all the way to Violet Flower Purple. That is another great feature of the 2012 Ford Mustang GT. There was new colors added to the color pallet this year with the new color Lava Metallic Red that replaced the current Sterling Gray Metallic (Simona para 2). The Lava
The corvette was first introduced in January 1953. To experiment with the car, they only made 300 cars, which were all made by hand and powered by a 235-cubic-inch 6-cylinder engine. The corvette was designed to show the world that General Motors could make a sports car that was a stylish two seater. All 1953 corvettes were polo white with red interiors. The engine of the car generated 150 horsepower and had a 2-speed power glide automatic transmission. Researchers have found that the first corvette has been known to go over 150 miles per hour.
When the word Mustang comes to play, most people think of a very well known car, not only for its stylish aspects, but for a variety of reasons: cost, features, speed (probably best know fact), and all around good appeal. The Ford Mustang was designed to be a people car. In 1960 Ford engineers sought out to build a car that the average motor head would be able to afford but yet still have the edgy feel about it. Back at the time of its release, in the early 1960's, the Mustang did hold the advantage over General Motors. General Motors had no car out at the time of the Mustang's release to compete with it. As the years progressed, Ford and Chevrolet managed to out do one another with there monster creations of each car. One such creation by Ford is their 590 HP "Super Stallion." The car features a 590 HP engine which burns alcohol instead of regular pump gas. Jack Keebler noted from Motor Trend Magazine, "The way to a fast time is to launch this pony at no more than 1,600 RPM, gently feeding in the throttle as the big 265/40/ZR18 Goodyear's churn at the edge of traction. Full throttle is impossible until you're well into third gear, but its still one helluva hand full to drive" (40 - 45). That is the newest creation from the M...

...est levels of sports car performance. As the first decade of the 21st century progressed, Chevrolet joined every other automaker in squeezing race track horsepower out of street-legal engines. The ZR1 Corvettes made during this generation were capable of speeds over 200 MPH, and cost over $100,000, so they were a bit of a change from the “cheap” car Corvettes were previously known for being. C7: The Return of the Stingray. Modern Corvettes are now achieving Ferrari racing status and power.Corvettes Are the Longest Running production Car Brand Ever. They are about $65,000 and usually look pretty nice. A really nice touch is that for an extra $800 you can drive your Corvette out of the Corvette museum with the staff clapping while you drive out.
Corvette is a sports car, manufactured by Chevrolet a division in the American manufacturer general motors. The corvette was first seen in 1953, in a car show by the name GM Motorama. it was designed by an industrial designer called Harley Earl. The car got the name from and old American warship called the corvette. The corvette won many awards since it was first manufactured for example in 1963 the Automobile magazine ranked the corvette sting ray first in the world top 100 coolest cars above the Dodge Viper and Porsche 911. Also sports cars international ranked corvette 5th in the top sport cars of the 60s. General Motors produced about 1,370,759 corvettes from all generations of corvette which makes corvette cars very successful in the sports cars market. Corvette was also very successful as a racing car as it was used more than 12 times in the Indianapolis 500 pace car. In 1960, the American car landscape itself had expanded as Detroit began offering “compacts” alongside their full-size models. Many drivers, however, were looking for something in between these full size and compact model; this interest gave way to a new class, the intermediate. With many innovations between 1960 and 1964, like the 406 cubic inch V8 from Ford, the 389 from General Motors, and the wedge V8s from Chrysler, the golden age of muscle cars began in 1964. The Pontiac Tempest G...
The light turns green and your foot sinks on the accelerator pedal. You hear the squeal of tires, but you know it's not from your truck because the Syclone is all wheel drive. The Mustang's 17 inch tires are spinning on dry pavement and struggling to regain their grip. After about half a second has gone by, your neck and neck with the Mustang. By this time the turbocharger in your truck has "spooled up" and is now compressing air into the intake manifold. Suddenly, your pushed back into your seat as the turbo goes to work. All the motion of the vehicle is forward and there is no "peeling out" from your truck because all of the power is being transmitted to all four of your 16 inch wheels. After two seconds, your ahead of the Mustang and just keep widening the gap on him. After 4.9 seconds your traveling at 60 mph. The Mustang will soon reach your velocity after another half a second.
The Mustang weighs less, has better breaks, and is faster both in the 0-60 and the quarter mile, although in 2014 the Camaro and the Mustang tied in the ¼ mile. However, those are just the based model V8s, both companies have something else up their sleeves, the 2017 Mustang GT350R, and the 2017 Camaro ZL1. Both of these cars and track focused vehicles, with much less weight, and much more power. But still, which is better on the scale of performance? The GT350 and the ZL1 are the most powerful Mustang and Camaro to date. However the tables turn a little bit. The Mustang GT350 features a naturally aspirated 5.2L V8 that pushed the car 0-60mph in 4 seconds flat. It accomplishes the quarter mile in just over 12 seconds at 119mph. The GT350 is more than just a new engine producing 526 horsepower. Ford lightened the car greatly by using materials such as carbon fiber. The Camaro ZL1 packs a supercharged 6.2L V8 that makes 650 horsepower, over 100 more than its competitor(Lieberman). The ZL1 does 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds and the quarter mile in 11.8 at 123.9 mph, making it faster than the fastest Mustang. The Camaro also features better breaks stopping from 60mph two feet before the Mustang, although both manage this in under 100 feet which is incredible by modern
normally produce 40% to 100%+ more power (depending on the amount of boost). Boost is any pressure above atmospheric pressure in the intake manifold. When there is more air pressure in the intake manifold that means that there can be more fuel pressure as well. The higher pressure in the combustion chamber means that the
When you buy a new car or even a new used car your mind starts racing through the modification possibilities. Whether you 're looking for more performance, better handling or improving the exterior appearance, opportunities abound.
So you are buying a new car and you ask yourself, Manual or Automatic? So choose. I told you the pros and cons on automatics and manuals. I told you which kind I like best. And even threw an opinion from another source. But in the end the choice is all yours. I can not tell you what kind of car to drive. What kind of transmission to get. Or even how to drive it, that is your prerogative. All I can tell you is that if you want some excitement in your ride, and do not want to spend a lot of money in the maintenance of you car, your best choice is a manual transmission. Even though manual transmissions are "it", for lack of a better word, in the end, it all comes down to the individual's preference
Cool hues include a vast amount of blues as well as some grays, silver, and white. Outdoor settings are easily depicted using cool colors. Warm colors such as red and yellow reflect areas of the Chevy that are not within the field of view of the artwork. Pink and green shades are also present indicating the color of the fuel tank and front fender. Darkest darks are demonstrated in various shades of the neutral color black on the seat of the bike and wheels and the lightest light is used on metallic areas that reflect sunlight such as wheel rims and the frame of the
One of the best-known movies of the last 50 years, is no other than Bullitt. This is a movie with Steven McQueen as the leading man, and in this movie, he drove a 1968 Ford Mustang. The car was used in several scenes within the film, but then something happened and the car disappeared.
To make comparing easier, a 2004 Ford SVT (Special Vehicle Teams) Mustang Cobra and a 2000 Acura Integra Type R will be used as the comparison.
