GM had actually begun preliminary work on such a car as early as 1958, according to Pontiac Designer Bob Porter. "I remember a four-passenger, sporty type car of the general size and weight class of the Mustang being worked on in an advanced studio. In the early '60s, similar cars were developed from time to time. Everyone wanted to do one, but at the time there was really no corporate interest."
There are many different kinds of vehicles on the road, but the ones that stand out the most are muscle cars and sports cars. Their unique design and body styles will catch people’s attention wherever they go. The Ford Mustang, a high performing muscle car introduced in 1964, is the most notable muscle car on the streets. It is most known for its unique body design with a long hood and short, rear decks. Their high performing V8 engines make their exhausts have a really deep, loud growl. When you think of sports cars, the first that comes to mind is the Chevrolet Corvette. Its sleek body style paired with its ability to stick to the ground around corners, makes it a very notable sports car in America. The two most iconic versions of these
Before this if you wanted a faster car you had to have it custom built and that took a lot of time and money. This changed in 1964 when the Pontiac Tempest offered a GTO package that added a V8 engine and floor shifted transmission. It also had GTO badges and special trim. In 1965, along came the Ford Mustang.
The Mustang GT only only offered the 289- cubic inch or an 390- cubic inch V8 in 1967. The Camaro rolled out with 302, 327, 350, and 396 cubic inch V8’s (Camaro 14) The Camaro’s style was much smoother as well. The introduction of the Camaro threw pony car development into a frenzy. Before the Camaro, the Mustang and Barracuda were not quite considered full muscle cars. Most serious performance enthusiasts still opted for intermediate sized GTO’s or the Chevelle Super Sports (SS). The Camaro changed the image of those sport coupes. (Camaros, Eric Ethan)
Mustang— a wild horse, symbolizes power, strength, glory, and so much more in this “transfixing, atmospheric, intimate drama” (Mustang). Mustang (2015) by French-Turkish film director Deniz Gamze Ergüven won the award for Best First Feature Film at the Cesar Awards. In the movie, five sisters who share a common passion for freedom find ways of getting around the constraints imposed on them. The narrator, who is also the youngest sister, Lale (Güneş Sensoy), takes charge with her dominant persona in finding an escape for her and her sisters. Based on Middle Eastern culture, these girls portray sisterhood and coming of age by communicating a strong message of women's empowerment and what it means to be a young female living in Turkey.
The Mustang weighs less, has better breaks, and is faster both in the 0-60 and the quarter mile, although in 2014 the Camaro and the Mustang tied in the ¼ mile. However, those are just the based model V8s, both companies have something else up their sleeves, the 2017 Mustang GT350R, and the 2017 Camaro ZL1. Both of these cars and track focused vehicles, with much less weight, and much more power. But still, which is better on the scale of performance? The GT350 and the ZL1 are the most powerful Mustang and Camaro to date. However the tables turn a little bit. The Mustang GT350 features a naturally aspirated 5.2L V8 that pushed the car 0-60mph in 4 seconds flat. It accomplishes the quarter mile in just over 12 seconds at 119mph. The GT350 is more than just a new engine producing 526 horsepower. Ford lightened the car greatly by using materials such as carbon fiber. The Camaro ZL1 packs a supercharged 6.2L V8 that makes 650 horsepower, over 100 more than its competitor(Lieberman). The ZL1 does 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds and the quarter mile in 11.8 at 123.9 mph, making it faster than the fastest Mustang. The Camaro also features better breaks stopping from 60mph two feet before the Mustang, although both manage this in under 100 feet which is incredible by modern

“Mustang”, the highly expressive debut feature by the French-Turkish filmmaker, Deniz Gamze Erguven, was attractively executed through an unobtrusive direction and graceful acting. The screenplay, co-written by Erguven and Alice Winocour who directed the audacious “Augustine” three years ago, was pretty straightforward, depicting the lives of five teen orphaned sisters who are suddenly placed in the local ‘market’ by their grandmother and the uncle who raised them, awaiting the first chance to get married. The film starts on the last day of school in an ultra-conservative rural village of Turkey. The sisters are sad to say goodbye to their teacher who will be transferred to Istanbul the following year. The day is sunny and we can almost feel the scents

I lived with my father for my entire life, but due to his work I did not spend much time with him. My father worked at a different city; and thus he comes home only a few times a month. My father is a mechanic. He works at a company that is distant from our home. This was due to the company being the only one and the first where cars were being assembled in Ethiopia. Sometimes on the weekends I used to go to his work place. He would give me a trip of the place; the station was filled with vehicles, trucks, and motorcycles. It was separated by sections. In each section there were only one type of vehicle and the assembly process was shown step by step. From a fuse to large engine of the car, components were getting attached.
