When pursuing a Football career, there are standards to complete to become successful. Well, now that I am in high school, I see that if my G.P.A. is less than a 2.5 I could not play in high school, college, or in professional league. However, being tardy or absent from school more than 4 days, can result in termination of sports and the Attendance record would be noted on all transcripts. As with any sport, eating healthy and exercise will result in less injuries and more stability. From experience, I see that education is the key to being successful, not only in football, but in everyday living. However, grades, test scores, and projects should be turned in on time which will give me a chance to play football and live up to my dream. I know that being tardy 3 times will result in 1 absence and it will be counted on the attendance sheet.Being late, not only to school but to any classes, will be added to the attendance record which will be also counted and noted. Yes, being tardy for school will result in being terminated from football or any sport. What some of us fail to realize is that maintaining a good attendance record will help get scholarships in the future. The most important way to become the best athlete is to eat healthy and exercise. Also, it is important to drink plenty of water and run daily. My coach tells me the more I exercise and keep fit, the less injuries I would have. I had a difficult time eating healthy at first but if I did not eat right I know I would not make it in football. Football is a contact sport and it is important to bring my “A” game every time I get on the field or in practice. In Conclusion, if I want to make it to become a professional football player in the future, there are certain requirements to be met and noted. The grade point average of 2.5 is a must and will not be accepted to any football
