Pastafarians focus on an inclusive faith that has no racial or monetary requirements. This is quite unlike the religion of Judaism or Islam which have a racial requirement along with heavy taxing from their respective temples. This has resulted in a religion that has no natural opposition to their faith, and thus have bred no conflict. The mystery of religious belief beyond the definition is still and will always be a much-debated topic. Regardless of whether these arguments are ever resolved, it is important to bear in mind about the powers from Albanese‘s theory, which is a system of symbols by means of which people orient themselves in a world with reference to both ordinary and extraordinary powers, meanings, and values (Albanese). All religions are very specific with the details which set that religion apart from others. However, when all the little details are melted away, there are only a mere handful that are different in essence. When looked at closely, even the religions which are perceived completely dissimilar at first glance are surprisingly similar. For example, the Voodoo religion, and that of early Christianity are stereotyped as extremely different, but with closer inspection, not only are these two religions are very obviously similar, but Voodooism stemmed, partly, out of Christianity. Both religions revolve around a mortal individual being used as a mouthpiece by a higher, being, be it spirit or god, to communicate with our mortal world. Yet at the same time, each religion has taken it’s own path and although equivalent in essence, have very different aspects with respect to background (such as time and status), as well as publicity, and language.

In today’s society, there are roughly around 4,200 religions that exist on this planet. Some define "religion" as a cultural system of behaviors and practices that help people make important decisions in life. Out of the many religions, Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism have many similarities that connect them to one another. Themes of morality, justice, love are found through both the Buddha's teaching and the Hebrew and Christian Bible.

Charles Kimball’s book When Religion Becomes Evil states, “It is somewhat trite, but nevertheless sadly true, to say that more wars have people killed, and these days more evil perpetrated in the name of religion than by any other institutional force in human history.” (Kimball 1). According to Kimball, an assurance to rite for needing proving, for no evidence support attempted. If one challenges to prove it, one will need recognizable evidence from other institutional forces over the course of study with a concept of religion.
Each religion has a different perspective but most important is where the religions generated from. Major religions started in various parts of the world.
Nevertheless, until laws were broken and human life was sacrificed, both the People’s Temple and Heaven’s Gate cults members were allowed to practice their beliefs freely without the intervention of the government. The inalienable right of a human being to give benediction to a divinity of their discretion is an opportunity that is not given in every country. Therefore, we, as American citizens must be appreciative of this gift of freedom that we have been given, and at the same time, we must be mindful and accommodating to those who choose to worship in a manner that is different than our own.
What is religion? According to (Muzorewa), “Religion is a set of beliefs in a higher being, God, or Gods or higher principle.” All religions come with characteristics such as a set of doctrines, rituals to celebrate certain occasions, sacred literature, and concern for life-after death. African Traditional Religion originated on the continent of Africa because Africa was the only location for human beings to live comfortably during that era. African Traditional Religion has approximately one hundred million supporters. There are thousands of religions and thousand more subdivisions of those. Religions are divided mainly into ancient and modern religions. Not to say that the “modern” religions just originated in the past couple years, just they are still practiced in present times. Some of the ancient religions include Egyptian, Zoroastrianism, Greek, Roman, Norse, and Celtic. The beliefs of these religions vary greatly and you could write a paper on each one. Among the main modern religions, Christianity and Islam are the most popular throughout the world. Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Judaism, and many others are still practiced throughout the world. Hinduism and Buddhism are mainly practiced in the Far East. Christianity is most common among English speaking countries. Islam is the primary religion in the African continent. There are thousands of variations of the religions that I have named previously.
