This year my fitness and health have been a little messed up. In the end of September I sustained a pretty serious concussion restricting me from exercise completely for a month then I could walk for 10 minutes a day for a while then slowly increasing my exercising I worked my way back up to a full practice. That was tough for me because I had also moved up levels to senior teal which was two levels above my previous level at junior teal. So the switch combined with the healing process created a rough first couple weeks of practice. After that I was still tired but got more and more used to it and the strain it put on my body. Additionally this year I have just been more sick and tired than usual which has caused me to miss more practices.
Sport aerobics is a new exiting performance sport, and like any new sport, is seeking recognition and acceptance as a valuable and worthwhile competitive activity. It is said however, that Sport Aerobics will always struggle for popular support because of pre-existing stereotyped views of sport in Australian society. You are going to want to give up, you are gonna get impatient but it is vital that you listen to what you are told. The old saying, “Minor setback major comeback” is very relevant to the patients going through any kind of injury. You may be broken now, but if you heal correctly you could come back better than you were before. The most important outcome for me is that my patients have gotten the best care they could have received and they have recovered to the fullest extent and for my patients I would like them to know that their injury does not define them, it is what happens after that matters the most. The methods that I would want to use would be pushing my clients to always work hard for what they want to achieve; Granted, there are different injuries so each one will be handled in a different way. For example, if a client comes in with a torn ligament in their arm it is not going to be an easy process for them. My job just does not involve making sure my clients heal, but also motivating them not give up and to always see the brighter side of their injury. I will know that I have accomplished all of my patients’ goals when they are healthy and ready to be active again. It then started to get harder and each day was a different workout to help me and my teammates improve. I was at a point where all I could do was attend school, go to practice and go home. Each day I was beyond tired. At a point of time I felt like giving up and going back to my regular life, and regular schedule. As the coach started to notice how I felt, he pulled me to the side and started to question what was going on. I explained, but everything I said was not a good enough reason. My coach told me, “If this is what you really want you won’t give up, no matter how hard it may get you will overcome it.” That day I learned a valuable lesson, to never give up.

If you are young it will take more time to recover than older people. Near the end of your recover you want to make sure to be careful because you can get another one easier. To make recovery time faster you will want to avoid bright lights or chaotic noises. Also, you should avoid any hard thinking or brain work. I 've played soccer my whole life since I was three and have loved it every single year. I played on a non-comp team for the longest time which was a bad idea coming into high school ball. When I got to high school soccer everything changed. Soccer was so much different. I remember my first game first play i had the ball I got hit and i looked at my dad and he kinda shrugged. It took alot to learn how to play at this new level. I worked hard through freshman, sophomore, and junior year. Then came senior year. The season came around and my coach, coach fletcher, had big expectations for me. I suffered through soccer conditioning and lost a few pounds from it. But i 'm getting ahead of myself. the spring season before school ball was my biggest nightmare. I started out the season good. had a goal. But then it happened, I broke my collarbone, again. This time was my worst time yet. I was put as foward to let our forwards have a break. I don 't usually play here. I started out the half with a few opportunities but then the perfect ball was sent over by my defender. He sent the ball over and I took off. I ran as fast as lightning after that ball. I brought my foot back to take a shot and BAM!! I got hit with a shoulder from behind. I fell and felt a snap. I broke my collar bone for the 4th time.
