The Fish Philosophy is about making other people feel good and about having a positive outlook on any task you are asked to do. I can apply these concepts at my job by asking people how they are doing and even asking them how their family is. At my first job, Benchmark Physical Therapy I can ask how the patients are doing and if they are in pain or not. I can go out of my way to help my coworkers when I see them busy with patients by cleaning the showers or the pools for them. I can also say thank you whenever they help me with any task. I can joke around with them and not make it only about doing work. We can play around when we have free time and talk to each other about our personal lives or just have fun. At Justice I can go beyond and …show more content…
It is also important to have fun at work, you can joke around or make bets on how fast you can do something. It is also important to have a smile on your face because I feel like that puts a person in a positive mood and makes the person you are talking to feel good. You can also use these concepts in school. For example, if a person if mad or sad all the time you would not want to be around them as much; but if a person was smiling and having a good time and was funny, you want to be their friend and get to know them. The people you are around at school can make you feel the same way so most people would want to be around someone who was positive. Also, if you did not engage in conversation or look at your friends when they talk to you they might feel like you do not want to be friends or tell you things anymore. If you do not keep eye contact or have a bad attitude with a teacher, you can get in trouble and it can be seen as disrespectful. It is important that you keep the Fish Philosophy in mind because it can always open more doors for you and you will be genuinely liked by the people around
The film Blackfish, a documentary created by Gabriela Cowperthwaite, is a film about the cruel punishment of killer whales at SeaWorld. It suggests that killer whales should be set free from captivity in marine mammal parks because of the threat and danger towards humans and each other. Blackfish is an explicit example of how logos, ethos and pathos are used to create an argument that is impressive, valid and effective.
Blackfish is a well-known film about how whales were kept in captivity while being mistreated. This film explained the situation in more of a sequential order stating each event one after another from occurrence. This film was made to inform people of all the cruel and monstrous things that Sea Land and Sea World were doing to the whales.
In the book, Your Inner Fish, by Neil Shubin he presents the notion of evolution and how we can trace parts that make up the human body back to jellyfish, worms, and even fish. The book not only discusses how we arose to be what we are today, but also the implications our ancestors had on our current body plan. In this essay, I will demonstrate that I have digested the entirety of Shubin’s book by convincing you (dear reader) that everything in our bodies is based on simple changes to already existing systems. To make this case, I will use the evidence of limb development in a vast array of organisms, the four arches found in the embryological stage of development, the structures inside our noses, and how our ears have come about all due to modifications.
Blackfish is a 2013 documentary attempting to elevate public awareness regarding the orca that are being kept in maritime amusement parks, specifically SeaWorld, and the inherent danger of their captivity. The film is effective because it raises a set of important ethical questions for the viewer while presenting with a necessary fact-based style of documentation that does not evoke gratuitous scenes of abuse in order to inspire sympathy, unlike some of the other films that are intended to raise awareness about animal abuse.
The first genetically modified animal has been given the green light to reach dinner plates.

The book “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie teaches people important lessons on how to deal with people not only in a professional area but with normal social situations as well. The book starts off with describing different situations on how to deal with people. For example humans should treat people with more appreciation and not just compliment them. People like to feel appreciated and sometimes it can lead a person to want to be more successful when they realize that some notices their hard work. Another example is when someone is trying to convince another person into doing something one always should realize what the other person wants first and talk to
The third and final episode of the series of Your Inner Fish is called Your Inner Monkey, but also known as Your Inner Primate. After watching this episode, I truly believe that humans are most closely related to the Primates, for example, monkeys. The episode starts off at an ice rink showing people skating around in a circle. A few moments later a person falls on their butt which is the worst place to fall because you would be failing on your tailbone. Humans have inherited a coccyx, which we get from our monkey ancestors.
I feel that doing what you say you will, and treating others as you want to be treated are principles that should not only be looked at as great strengths but as internal values that convey credibility. When people trust you and know they can come to you without judgment, it offers them a sense of security and peace.
Maintaining an aquarium is a difficult task because of all the various sciences involved in keeping an aquarium safe for both plants and aquatic creatures to live in. An aquarium will fail without the proper balances between chemicals, fish, and plants. To find the balances between chemicals and bacteria, a lot of research and hard work is needed.
Treating people the same way we want them to treat us, if someone is mean to people, they better expect the same from them, not the opposite.
Lastly, one must respect his or herself. This respect is holding your head high and respecting your own opinions. Its acknowledging that you have ideas and then sharing them because you are not afraid of what others may think. It is not letting peer pressure and other things effect the way you think or want to think. Respect for yourself is the most important of all because without it, you would have no respect for others.
