he reason I chose the career firefighter is because that is what I want to be when im older. I want to go to college for fire science and get my associate’s degree. A reason that i want to become a firefighter is to help and serve my community. A firefighter is a rescuer broadly trained in emergency medical services and firefighting. Their job is to mainly extinguish hazardous blazes that put people’s lives, animals lives, and people’s property in extreme danger.
If I become a firefighter, i know that this job has many qualifications.

Those interested in pursuing a career in firefighting are faced with many options when it comes to selecting a department to apply to. Attaining a career with Columbus Fire is often a goal of students in Central Ohio, and for good reason.

I chose to pursue Social Work due to my philosophy of justice and believing in the progression towards a just world, or as Gandhi puts it; being the change you wish to see. There are several reasons why I can say I would like to become a respiratory therapist, the respect that respiratory practitioner receive, the importance and the involvement that respiratory care has in patient care, for one day I will be working with all kinds of patients, from peds to the elderly, from subacute patients to the critically ill. I also enjoy seeing a patient who was under my care in the intensive care unit (ICU), now being discharged and knowing that I played a part in the patient’s ability to go home. After I graduated from high school, I enrolled in the law enforcement program at Spokane Community College where I planned to fulfill my dream of becoming a cop. I started the law enforcement classes at the college and came to the conclusion that law enforcement was not the career for me.
The career i chose is a branch of the medical field. I chose a career in nursing, more specifically the career path of a registered nurse. This career consists of providing care for people of all ages and helping them with managing their conditions. I chose this career because my mother is an rn and my family has a strong presence in the medical field. It is important to understand the education or training requirements, skills, or talents needed, salary, benefits offered, and the duties for a particular career when making this decision.
In conclusion i find that i would like to go into the job of being a pilot because I feel like I could prosper from the job. I would love to experience the job of flying through the air without a care in the world (other than that of my passengers). I would love to experience the passion of going to new places and learning about different cultures. This is why i would choose to be a pilot.
Firefighting has been a thankless job since the beginning. It started out as a group of people with one objective; to extinguish a fire. They did not worry about the consequences or repercussions from not having any personal protective equipment. The equipment to help keep all firemen safe has drastically changed from being non-existence to the upmost importance. Without safety equipment, firemen cannot perform their job to the best of their ability. Firemen use turnout gear which has three major parts; helmet, jacket, and SCBA.
